Nice location next to Peles Castle. We had a room upgrade and got an apartment on arrival, which was a nice surprise. Breakfast was available and the rooms were spacious, nicely decorated and cozy and warm.

Sinaia is a place to go for skiing maybe and visiting the famous Peles and Pelisor castles. Other than that, the resort is dirty, sad looking and very crowded. The air seems very polluted so you’ll not be getting that fresh mountain air you want. I would go through Sinaia again, but not to stay.

A beautiful city any time of the year.
A beautiful city any time of the year. We went during December and it was amazing, the decorations were beautiful, the city hall looks like a small castle and the trees were all with charismas lights. Beautiful place to stay and one can do a lot of stuff, visiting castles, taking long walks, plus there are plenty of places with good food.

Great place for weekend escapes with family or friends.
Great place for weekend escapes with family or friends. Plenty of local cuisine restaurants and huge number of places to stay at a very reasonable price. The only bad thing is the traffic, expect up to 2-3 hours in standstill traffic while travelling to Sinaia.

A stunning place to visit!
A stunning place to visit! Gorgeous setting in the mountains and lots to see while you're there. We loved Peles and Pelisor castles and their fairytale setting. Our accommodation Casa Larisa was incredible and we enjoyed a delicious meal at Forest Restaurant. Cofetaria Palace in the park makes a tasty smoothie and tempting ice cream and cafe treats. Loved it in the summer and imagine its beuatiful in winter too!

Charming town with fresh and tasty air, many cafe and opportunity for good shopping.
We ate in restaurants in hotel Sinaia: one inside, one - outside. Both were very good.
The views are amazing, the architecture is fantastic: every house is like a small castle.
The park is so beautiful. You just want to stay there for hours.

Sinaia looks great these days - the pavement, the buildings in the old centre, all the infrastructure, in general, have been reconditioned, renewed. It has a beautiful park, good restaurants, interesting places to visit, like Peleș Castle etc. You can go hiking on the trails surrounding the resort, you can take the cable cabin up the mountains if you're not that young anymore. The view upthere is breathtaking. Everything about Sinaia is just wonderful and I always revisit it with great pleasure.
Very nice place in a beautiful town of Sinaia. The hotel actually is a 100+ years old building, built by a chech architecture, close friend of Carol I, the king of Romania. The staff is really polite. Check in is till 20:00, we came later, but the staff called to us and together we found a solution how to check in at midnight. Breakfast is good. And once again - the hotel is really cool designed, you will be able to feel all the authentic and old atmosphere of romanian architecture from the beginning of XX century.
Clean, large room. Very nice residence. The place was new on booking so there wasn't a rating but we took a chance because it looked nice from the photos. It was great and the host was very pleasant. She was patient with the fact I speak almost no Romanian. Google translate wins again.
This isn't negative but be aware it's at the end or near the end of town. All the cafes and shops are about 1.5 km. There are plenty of taxis available, if needed, so no problem.
The pension and its Hungarian speciality restaurant are in a lovely older building perched like a hunting lodge above the town. Sinaia is a pretty and touristic, set on steep slopes up from the train station. We definitely needed a taxi up and down with luggage but the walk uphill from the hotel to the famous royal castles was nearby, steep but manageable and had great views. The food in the restaurant was really delicious. Our room was small but comfortable.
Great View and upgrades!
7 years ago we found Ioana’ s Hotel and fell in love with the place. We’re coming here every single time when we’re back to Romania.
This is the most amazing place I have ever stayed, the highlight of our holiday! Wish I could have stayed longer.
The attention to detail from comfort to design was second to none.
Staff was great and we feel in love with the new place of Forest Restaurant also best place to take your child with you.
The room was at the top floor with nice view of green and the streets. The location of the hotel was absolutely perfect, only a 6 minute walk to Sinaia train station and right next to many shops, restaurants, etc. At the heart of the center basically, and yet not loud during the night so we had good sleep. There was also a kitchen where we could put our food and use the cutleries - very convenient! We had a good and very convenient stay there.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Sinaia.
Parking -> The parking is big and right next to the hotel, so its easy to transfer your luggage
Location -> The hotel is right in the center of Sinaia
As for the cleanliness, rooms, breakfast and staff I think everything was as it should, there is nothing to complain about! I also recommend you try the austrian restaurant, the food was amazing!
Room was huge, balcony overlooking quiet garden and the mountains. A feast for the eyes in the morning.
"Luxury rooms International Sinaia" translates into Romanian as "Pensiunea Micșunica", just so you don't have any surprises when you enter the address into your favorite navigation software and the displayed name is different.

- excellent in almost every way :
+ New rooms ,with proper bathroom.
+ Nice wellness centre & gym.
+ Restaurant was very good as well.
+ Good location in Bucegi Mountains for hikes/walks.
+ Very friendly and helpfull staff with good English skills.
+ Good comfortable bed and pillows
- In a 1700km roadtrip through mid Romania , this was the only hotel that was fully on par with Western standards.
We have returned to Hotel Sinaia after 2 years break, and I have to say I was impressed with the transformation. Our Room (family room) was renovated recently and had everything you expect in a 4 star hotel. The lobby have been also renovated and the restaurant as well. Breakfast was great, much better than last couple of years. Overall a great stay, bonus points for striving to became better.
+ the hotel looks really good after the restoration
+ the staff was very friendly
+ the mini bar prices (like 10 ron/2 eur for a bear)
+ breakfast variety
+ location
+ price (we have found a really good deal this time on booking). I was looking for some time to test the hotel, but this was the best price in the last .. .6 months from what I saw
The location is excellent, close to the city park and Sinaia monastery, yet very quiet.
The apartment is big and comfortable, equipped with all the necessary for the entire family needs, including the kitchen.
The owners are extremely friendly and ready to help, making you feel like at home.
I would gladly return there any time I am in Sinaia.
Great breakfast, room was clean, large and very comfy, staff were very welcoming and helpful.
Quietness, very relaxing atmosphere throughout the hotel, and great view of the surroundings.
Excellent value for the money, and the restaurant serves very good food, decently priced compared to the ridiculous high priced restaurants downtown.
The breakfast was very good, mostly local foods, and a loooot of different choices ( which you usually don't see in Western Europe's expensive hotels). The location was very nice, quite and the view from the hotel was fantastic over the town underneath. The restaurant was very nice and bright, cozy to eat there.
The location is absolutely gorgeous and exceptional. It is situated at the beginning of the mountain level. You have the amazing views of the mountains & we were very luck to get some snow showers and had the great experience to visit some restaurants (typically Romanian dishes) down in the city of Sinaia.
I was called from Rina Cerbul hotel before the stay to let me know that my accommodation will actually be at Sinaia Hotel, so the review is for Sinaia Hotel. They informed me nicely that I have been moved to Sinaia hotel.
They are across the street from each other, so both in the very center of Sinaia.
Location is good, not in the heart of Sinaia but always a pleasure to walk 15 minutes. Busses available and also taxi from downtown costs about 3 euro
The hotel is clean and the staff is polite. Breakfast was very good as well.
Good location and good food at the restaurants. Restaurant staff at the Italian restaurant was very nice and friendly! Good bowling area for children as well within the hotel.
breakfast was good, need more vegetables.
hotel location is good, in the center.
Crama Rina Restaurant good, still i expected some discount for the hotel guest.
The hotel is very good, nicely renovated. It has everything needed.
Breakfast and dinner are very good. Restaurant personnel are very skilled and attentive.
