Sinaia is a place to go for skiing maybe and visiting the famous Peles and Pelisor castles. Other than that, the resort is dirty, sad looking and very crowded. The air seems very polluted so you’ll not be getting that fresh mountain air you want. I would go through Sinaia again, but not to stay.

A beautiful city any time of the year.
A beautiful city any time of the year. We went during December and it was amazing, the decorations were beautiful, the city hall looks like a small castle and the trees were all with charismas lights. Beautiful place to stay and one can do a lot of stuff, visiting castles, taking long walks, plus there are plenty of places with good food.

Great place for weekend escapes with family or friends.
Great place for weekend escapes with family or friends. Plenty of local cuisine restaurants and huge number of places to stay at a very reasonable price. The only bad thing is the traffic, expect up to 2-3 hours in standstill traffic while travelling to Sinaia.

A stunning place to visit!
A stunning place to visit! Gorgeous setting in the mountains and lots to see while you're there. We loved Peles and Pelisor castles and their fairytale setting. Our accommodation Casa Larisa was incredible and we enjoyed a delicious meal at Forest Restaurant. Cofetaria Palace in the park makes a tasty smoothie and tempting ice cream and cafe treats. Loved it in the summer and imagine its beuatiful in winter too!

Charming town with fresh and tasty air, many cafe and opportunity for good shopping.
We ate in restaurants in hotel Sinaia: one inside, one - outside. Both were very good.
The views are amazing, the architecture is fantastic: every house is like a small castle.

Sinaia looks great these days - the pavement, the buildings in the old centre, all the infrastructure, in general, have been reconditioned, renewed. It has a beautiful park, good restaurants, interesting places to visit, like Peleș Castle etc. You can go hiking on the trails surrounding the resort, you can take the cable cabin up the mountains if you're not that young anymore. The view upthere is breathtaking. Everything about Sinaia is just wonderful and I always revisit it with great pleasure.
Clean, large room. Very nice residence. The place was new on booking so there wasn't a rating but we took a chance because it looked nice from the photos. It was great and the host was very pleasant. She was patient with the fact I speak almost no Romanian. Google translate wins again.
This isn't negative but be aware it's at the end or near the end of town. All the cafes and shops are about 1.5 km. There are plenty of taxis available, if needed, so no problem.
The pension and its Hungarian speciality restaurant are in a lovely older building perched like a hunting lodge above the town. Sinaia is a pretty and touristic, set on steep slopes up from the train station. We definitely needed a taxi up and down with luggage but the walk uphill from the hotel to the famous royal castles was nearby, steep but manageable and had great views. The food in the restaurant was really delicious. Our room was small but comfortable.
The Alexandrion Experience opened in March 2023, and it still smells brand new. This could be because the whole hotel is non-smoking, including the balconies.
Denisa at the reception was excellent, helping with all our questions; all the staff were friendly, making our stay a special experience.
The location is on the main street, close to restaurants and within an easy walk up to Peles Castle. I definitely recommend a stay at The Alexandrion Experience.
Wow. Located near busy road, that runs in aproximity to Sinaia, but you dont hear a sound except bird singing. It has excellent rooms, we booked a family suite. Also in restaurant is very good restaurant (we had dinner and breakfast there) also with local cuisine specialties and quite inexpensive. We really don' understand how come that this hotel isa rated with two stars as it matches the 4star Bavarian or Austrian hotels. Jus saying. I really recommend it.
Everything. This place is amazing. Sparkling clean, comfortable, cozy, nice temp in summer, everything you need inside: kitchen with stove, sink, dinning table, seating area, really big and comfy bed, super nice and clean bathroom.
The hosts are amazing people. They are the nicest people you will meet. So helpful and so accommodating! True Romanians.
The vila is modern, really tastefully decorated and well kept. Will definitely be coming back!
Wonderful location, good services and friendly staff.
The breakfast and dinner offered a nice selection of typical Romanian food in a buffet style.
Lunch can be served in their own restaurant and it has a wider selection of foods.
The rooms are clean and with modern furniture. Bathrooms are nice and clean.
Surprisingly decent coffee at the coffee machine and very good Turkish moka in the restaurant.
Beautiful room, very clean, high quality products and facilities, with nice view to the park.
The building itself is beautiful and very well modernized and refurbished. A true luxury stay and very well positioned in Sinaia.
Good restaurant also, although breakfast could be more varied (more pastries for example).
Wonderful cozy hotel at the outskirts of Sinaia.
Check-in was fast and efficient.
Room was spacious, clean and nicely decorated.
Bath robes, mini bar, slippers, toiletries provided.
Beautiful views, free parking and lovely restaurant.
They have a spa as well with a jacuzzi, sauna and massage area.

The staff at the hotel and in the dining room were exceptional. So friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and so exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect for seeing Pelles and Pelisor. An easy walk down to the town and about 20 minutes to the Monastery.
Perfectly located to explore de surroundings of Sinaia city.
Walking distance to the main landmarks.
The apartament is spacious and very clean.
Parking space was a plus for this location.
The host provided us also with a baby crib.
Definitely a place we'll be back.
Great stay. You have everything you need - comfy room, big bathroom , pool , playground inside and outside and two restaurants. You can stay in the hotel the whole holiday if you want and nothing would be missing.
Exceptional location, excellent service! I truly recommend this hotel! Fabulous staff, ready to accommodate all your needs. A must go place to visit in Romania 👍 Florin in the restaurant was exceptional!
The view is magnificent, perfect location, near bus stations that go to Sinaia. If you travel to Sinaia by car, the trip takes 8 min to the center of the city. The Booking images correspond to reality.
