Lovely old town with small and large square and lots of interesting and colorful architecture. I recommend to visit the Brukenthal National Museum and of course the beautiful bridge of lies (by night extra special). We travelled with our two dogs and saw no stray dogs in Sibiu.

We visited the upper and lower town, the city walls and took lots of pictures of the eyes of Sibiu. It’s a very walkable small city. We also visited, on the recommendation of our host, the Astra National Ethnographic Museum Complex. We ate traditional Romanian dishes and drank local craft beer at Restaurant La Bubu.

Nice city to stay in for a couple of days.
Nice city to stay in for a couple of days.
Clean and cozy, a lot of good places to eat downtown and nice views.
Ski resort Paltinis 1 hour away by car - the oldest ski resort in Romania!
Nice shopping mall - Promenada - recommended if you want to do some shopping or just hang out.
The best place we stayed during our weeklong trip to Romania. The room was large and well equipped, the shower was modern and had excellent pressure and temperature, the bed was comfortable.
I left an expensive item in my room and they immediately contacted me to let me know. When it took me a while to return to collect it they went out of their way to ensure I could get it back. Even before this experience they were our favourite place we stayed and this just further demonstrated their professionalism.
They even had candy in the room!
This was probably my favorite stay in Romania. Communication with staff was entirely electronic. You get a QR code to open doors. The AC was great, the room was very clean, cozy and comfy. The kitchen and bathroom were very clean. Outside you have access to a private terrace and quite inner courtyard, I did not spot a single soul while staying there. Location is close to the train station and the city center. The discount you get for the nearby restaurant is also great.
Very comfortable place, at few steps to Podul Minciunilor and Piața Mică. We found easily a parking spot just in front of the house. Nearby, a cosy coffee place and a market. The host was very responsive and kind. We appreciated also the good books in the appartement (Shakespeare, Molière and many other authors) reminding us that Sibiu is the city of the best theater festival in Romania.
Very good value for this location!
We definitely recommend this appartement!
It was absolutely the best stay in Romania! The hotel is brand new, the building was renovated, rooms are big and beautiful and were super clean, and they have roof top with emazing view to Sibiu old town. The hosts did everything to make us feel almost like family. They were so nice and helpful and had geart recommendations for resturants. Breakfast was delicious. We stayed there for a few days, 4 families, and we all had emazing experience.
Home away from home, Damiani Boutique Hôtel is the finest family owned and family run hotel in the residential part of Sibiu, with all facilities for business and private short or mid-term stays. Breakfast Buffet is generously served every morning; ancestral Transylvanian delicacies and traditional recipes brought directly from local countryside producers. A true feast you will remember.
The location was perfect, offering convenience without sacrificing tranquility. The room was spacious, providing ample space to unwind after a long day of exploring. It was remarkably quiet, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. Moreover, the bed was comfortable. The hotel had all the amenities .
Overall, I highly recommend
for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay.
We loved our stay in this apartment. It was super clean and very comfortable . It's nicely decorated with fresh modern furniture, but still kept the historic essence, being from 1700. The host was so nice, even picked us up and took us to the airport and that is unheard of. The location is wonderful and they really went above and beyond to make our visit to Romania truly amazing.
Super super central: you look at the liars' bridge from the top of your room. Parking available on the street just nearby. Breakfast - delicious, a la carte, at Cafe Wien - in a sunny square behind the hotel. Big room. Aaaaand - they have coffee in the room and in the floor common area, which is rare in Romania. I wish we stayed longer.
The service here is really excellent. Rooms are comfortable and have plenty of space. The hotel is in a great location in the old town. Parking is available within a few hundred meters in each direction, and we were able to find a space. The town has a very well organized parking payment system with signs explaining how to pay.
The location of the hotel - pretty close to the city centre; the rooms were cozy and clean, and quite large. Also, the breakfast, very varied and tasty - one had quite a large variety of products, even for fasting and vegetarians. Will definitely come back, when visiting Sibiu!
Perfect little hotel right in the centre of Sibiu. We got lucky and got the room with the piano that offered great views.
Communication was effortless and very responsive. Breakfast was diverse. We loved it overall and will for sure come back.
Our stay felt somewhat like a 5 star hotel stay. It was above average for sure and the location is very good. It has parking and is very close to the centre of Sibiu. Also the owners were very kind and welcoming.
Hotel is pretty new and clean, stylish interior.
SPA was very good and comfortable, however they charge you additionally for spa visit and you should book it in advance.
Breakfasts were tasty.
Located right in the city centre. I met some interesting fellow travelers. Sibiu is one of the prettiest cities in Romania so make sure you have a full day to enjoy the city.
Friendly staff. Very close to Sibiu historical center by foot. There was no parking spot for us in the inner courtyard and the hotel paid the public parking fee for us.
