I loved the old ambiance of this hotel. It is peaceful and quiet. My balcony room had a view of the surrounding mountains. This property also has a lovely pool and outdoor seating for eating. I highly recommend staying at this hotel as it is an 8 minute walk from the train depot in Domidossola in the historic town close to all restaurants, museums and places of interest. This hotel is owned by the same family for many years. Dinner and service in their restaurant was delightful and the minestrone soup…superb!

If you don't speak Italian and you don't have your own car...
If you don't speak Italian and you don't have your own car either skip Domodossola or make sure you are staying in a place right in town. Once you leave the center of town it's not a walkable place. The drivers race everywhere despite the narrow streets, there aren't any sidewalks in the residential areas and it's extremely difficult to find anyone who can speak English.
On the positive side the prices were a lot lower for everything than in Switzerland and the architecture and scenery was beautiful.

Having had a great two night stay we extended it a further two night which we quickly regretted.
The noise which started on the third night was intolerable. A local bar started blasting loud music around 5pm. The police drove passed several times but didn't intervene until around 11pm. This did not stop the music or noise. When the music stopped just before midnight we had endured it for almost 7hours non-stop. We were exhausted and the shouting of people outside (including young children at the bar) continued into the early hours of the morning. We would not return!

Beautiful little medieval centre, lots of pedestrian streets, masses of good restaurants, fabulous setting in the mountains.
Not too busy even in high summer, and friendly locals. Well-connected by trains to Switzerland and the rest of Italy.

Its a nice small city with a small historical center that you can easily walk.
The choices for dinner or drinks are more than enough and we are more than excited about the food, meaning Taste and Cost.
The main reason that we visited this city the first time was that is the best stopover visiting the Swiss Alps. Is just before the mountains. We wil definately visit this city!!
Our stay in the quaint village of Domodossola was wonderful. The village was alive with the polenta festival when we arrived with so much fun spilling into the otherwise quiet and peaceful area. The location for Domus Residence was perfect and the customer service was kind. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable--and the price was unbeatable. Great location for exploring further into Verbano-Cusio-Ossola.
Staff was courteous. Anna helped us checkin and book a taxi and many other ways. Location is close to train station and exactly at City center. With many nice bars and restaurants around it. You feel good about the proximity
Room was nicely decorated and was soothing to stay in. Breakfast spread was amazing. Attention to detail is the the phrase for this boutique hotel.
Very friendly staff. The hotel’s interior decoration is very nice and warming. The room was small but very comfortable (including the bed) and with natural light. Location easy to reach and with on-site parking. Breakfast very good with savory and sweet food. The restaurant has top class food and wine at affordable prices. The Chef has a one star Michelin.

Perfect location for our trip, the owner Maurilio was kind, available, knowledgeable. the apartment had all the features needed and much more than that. Tons of info about Domodossola, where to go, where to eat, best places to visit…even bikes to explore the lovely town.
Stella and her husband were extremely welcoming and hospitable, providing great travel/food recommendations that made my trip better than I imagined. The hotel is in a cozy nook right beside the central plaza, it is relatively calm at night and safe for solo travelers.
Our second stay here now and will continue to be for a next trip to domodossola. Excellent room, facilities, location and staff. Breakfast also fantastic with lots of locally sourced produce and in a stunning “cave” in the basement. Really can’t fault this property.
Everything! They were so nice and great value. We had been traveling for a bit and this is exactly what we needed to wind down. The accommodations were excellent as well as the breakfast and hotel services.
We like the location. 7 minues Taxi ride to the hotel. Cost 10 Euro. There grocery store is just 5 minutes walk from the hotel. defnitly a plus because we were able to buy all of our necessities,
This hotel is a beautifully restored village that has been converted into a charming B&B. The views are incredible and there are many hiking trails through the mountains to nearby villages.
One of the few hotels in Domodossola that has onsite parking which was a positive for us. Also genuinely dog friendly. Clean, airconditioned room and quiet at night.
Nice location, incredibly rooftop terrace, very helpful host - everything was perfect. If I were ever to come back to Domodossola, I would pick that Apartment again!
The furniture in Spanish style, of the room, of the house. The magnificent view onto Domodossola. The very friendly host. The special breakfast style (vegan).
The place is situated in the middle of Domodossolas Old Town, everything is in walking distance and still the nights are quite. Nice place, well equipped.
Nice appartment in the centre of Domodossola. Enjoyed our one night stay in this beautiful town and appartment. Everything present and clean appartment.
