Lovely and charming mountain town; easy to drive around and to walk about once in the city area. Lots of eating places and nice restaurants. However I can imagine it gets very crowded in peak seasons The places and areas of attractions are well maintained which adds to the charms of Corvara

Loved Corvara.
Loved Corvara. Good, close access to the well organised ski lifts and slopes and all the skiing infrastructure you would expect. Plenty of restaurants and bars in the village and on the slopes good shops, ice skating rink etc.

Have stayed here five times skiing & twice in Summer. The beauty of the area takes some beating, surrounded with grand mountains, plenty of modern chair lifts etc. then fantastic flowers with well marked walking trails in Summer. You do need to be fit to enjoy this area, though, & there is very limited other entertainment unless staying at one of the larger hotels with a swimming pool, sauna etc. Also at present, there are limited full or half board options, giving B&B stays a hunt for the evening meals - but the pizzas are good!JanetUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

Spent a week skiing here which was our first visit to this area. Excellent and extensive skiing are serviced by excellent lifts and the scenery is absolutely stunning. Half board accommodation but we did eat out on two nights and the choice of restaurants was good.

From Corvara it is also a 30min drive to Plan de Corones if you want a change. The hotel staff were lovely, and our room was very comfortable with a view of the mountains. The decor is a little retro. Some of the rooms are more neutral, and ours was fine. But the bathroom was a little old fashioned with pink and black tiles. But we knew to expect that.

The free invluded vreakfast was a great way to start the day before hiking. The location of the hotel is perfect as a jumping off point fir many of the local trails or cable cars. We had a very nice breakfast. It was basic but had everything we needed (ham, cheese, nice bread and croissants, yoghurt, sweets, cereals, etc.). It is a family hotel with great hosts and excellent service. There is parking provided for all guests. I would definitely come here again!

Hiking paths start very near the hotel. The room was quiet. The spa was open from 7-19, we enjoyed it very much!
