Our stay in Sappada at the end of June, 2019, was fantastic! This is a beautiful, peaceful, small town nestled in the mountains, surrounded by truly stunning scenery! We had some amazing experiences hiking during our stay, and enjoyed strolling the local streets in the evening and stumbling on small pubs/restaurants that seemed to be favored by the locals. I would definitely recommend this town for someone looking to find some peace/tranquility in the mountains, particularly if you want to enjoy some time outdoors. We completed a day-trip to Tre Cime as well - the scenery was equally as stunning, but the area was much more crowded, and I preferred the quite nature of Sappada.

Sappada is great starting point for mountaneering, moutain biking... If you like a good craft beer and snacks, Plodar kelder is a good choice. People are helpful and friendly wherever you go (tourist info, shops,..) Architecture in Sappada is brilliant (old and in extremely good shape).andrejnoSlovenia

The people from the hotel were very nice and prestative, and allowed us to keep our luggage at the reception before and after the checkin/chekout. The only thing is that is a little far from the center, but is possible to go walking. It is a very nice place, our room had a wonderful view of the mountains, I recommend the hotel.

The room was alright and the bathroom too (except for the lack of soap). As requested, they gave us a lot of hot water that we needed for make tea for our day out in the cold.
