Tiny village at the intersection of a couple of major roads...
Tiny village at the intersection of a couple of major roads connecting different valleys. Spectacular view of NW wall of Mt. Civetta is the main attraction. The 5km walk along the river to Alleghe is the best way to kill a couple of hours. A cheaper option, I suppose, than other places in the Dolomites, thus ok as "base-camp" but be prepared to drive around to do your preferred alpine activities (skiing, hiking, climbing, biking, etc).MassimoUnited States of America
