A very neat, clean and perfectly organized city with Austrian organization and Italian flair. The feeling of security is very high, there are no beggars, no suspicious men. The stores sell excellent goods, there are no cheap stores like New Yorker, generally there are no international brands, but that's why you find very high quality goods at reasonable prices.
The food is gastronomic, and the prices are acceptable. The architecture is first class.

Bruneck is located in the center of the lower Puster Valley...
Bruneck is located in the center of the lower Puster Valley and has excellent connections with the entire region of eastern South Tyrol. From there it is easy to be in the mountains and forests within an hour or so and experience all the incredible beauty of the region and there are lots of walks and cycle paths to choose from. . But staying in town has its attractions too, namely the old part of town and many more choices for dining than one would have in a mountain resort. In any case, this combination worked perfectly for us.

The open air museum in via Duca Diet was wonderful.
The open air museum in via Duca Diet was wonderful. Reasonable entry price with a discount for Holidaypass. Really interesting buildings and objects.
The castle wasn't particularly easy to get to as the path from the town was very steep. Nice but a bit pricey.
Cable car to the top of the mountain was definitely worth it. Breathtaking views.

We did not have a car, so did not venture too far from Hotel Amaten. The hiking trails were great. Free train and bus travel for the duration of our stay - we took a day trip to Lake of Braies, which was stunning, although incredibly crowded with tourists. It was a Sunday, so perhaps that was why it was so busy? Would recommend packing a lunch as the food is overpriced and not so great.
Very friendly and helpful staff, always ready to hear and assist. Huge plus is the restaurant located in the hotel, when all other places are closed you can eat right here and the food is delicious. Huge variety of pizzas along with other meals makes it a perfect place. Big parking, so if you're traveling by car, there should be no problem with parking. Room was comfy and quiet. There's a pool, sauna and ski lockers you can use. We really enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend this place :)
Our room was beautiful - from the entry way to the bathroom to the main room to the balcony and view. We really enjoyed the spa and pool as well, they were beautifully maintained and had a wide variety of options. The breakfast was also wonderful, with an incredibly wide variety of options.
We also really appreciated the van that runs from the hotel to base area - it was convenient and we didn't have to wait in line at all.
The place was impeccable. Awesome design, clean, kind and extremely considerate service, comfortable beds, very child-friendly, good modern appliances, very nice shower and bathroom, ecologically aware bathroom products... and the list goes on and on. Our family lives in Brunico so I have tried almost all of the accomodation options there and this is the best. by a mile.
The hotel was exceptionally clean, well equipped and perfectly located near to Brunico. The balcony view was breathtaking. Our kids enjoyed as well the playground and the entertainment area in the garage.
The kitchen is well equipped with all needed equipment.
The owner was very helpful and friendly and we definitely recommend to stay.
Beautiful Location: The hotel is situated in a stunning and remote area, offering picturesque villas.
Serene Environment: Theoretically the setting provides a tranquil atmosphere, ideal for those seeking quiet time (not the case for our stay).
Decent Breakfast: The breakfast selection is good, offering a variety of options.
The hotel was in a great location, a short walk from the train station and close by to plenty of restaurants and shops. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The gym facilities were excellent and the breakfast was to a good standard. We really enjoyed our stay here in Brunico and would recommend to other travellers!
We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Rudolf. We received a free upgrade to one of the suites by a very kind employee. The wellness center was very calm and relaxing, with a lot of different saunas and both an inside and outside pool. The staff was very kind and helpful.
I enjoyed the ski deposit, the free parking, the room size and decor, the spacious balcony, the friendliness of staff and the rich breakfast. Also, the fact that the hotel is so close to the slopes is magnificent. Generally the hotel is warm and welcoming.
Very friendly and accommodating staff, meeting all the requests and always willing to advice for the best options. Hotel very close to the center and to the bus station for the ski area.
Nice room and very good brekafast. Near to the Kronplatz ski resort starting point. We got free tickets for the ski bus. Bus station is 200m from the hotel.
Beautiful hotel and room. Loved the location and the dinner and breakfast. The town of Brunico is so lovely. Visit the town and castle which are nearby
