Wonderful slopes well pisted daily. Great variety and amazing views.
Fantastic restaurants staffed by the most friendly and helpful staff.
DIRTY RIP OFF on Matterhorn Alpine Crossing. We paid €450 for all areas ski pass and took the new crossing from Italy to Switzerland. They forced us to pay €25 for the return. (Conditions had deteriorated and we felt it was not safe to ski back on unfamiliar slopes with poor vis.) This left a very sour taste in our mouths. Greedy and unfriendly customer pricing.

Cervinia has a major problem with accommodation.
Cervinia has a major problem with accommodation. It is a high altitude resort and gets reliable snow. When I booked it, February, there was almost no accommodation within any sort of walking distance of any ski lift. Not even hotel rooms, suggesting that the various hotels were block booked by tour operators. This was confirmed by enquiries at one hotel downtown. This is a new situation for Cervinia. This apartment was one of very few available regardless of price. The price paid, €2890 for 5 nights (this rises for more than 2 occupants), had to be accepted but turned out to be outrageously overpriced for the size and quality of the apartment which is a very basic run-down apartment. I have stayed at Cervinia 5-6 times since 2020 and the right price for a genuine 2 bedroom apartment would be around €1000. I was paying €900 for a much nicer apartment than this one and about 1.5x bigger. Unfortunately exploitation is the name of the game now.

We love it here!
We love it here! So easy to access the skiing in Switzerland. A huge ski area.
The town is cute , lots of restaurants.
Apres ski is more on the slopes rather than down in the town but this suited us.
The supermarket is well stocked and all the local coffee shops and bakeries are excellent.

Favorite of course the many ski lifts and slopes, many restaurants in the village center and around the slopes.
We ate at different restaurants and in our apartment, even once Thai Fast Food at the Cretaz valley.
It's easy to get around in the village center, but might get difficult outside, especially up on the steep roads around. The Ski bus can be crowded, taxies can be on high demand and not reachable, and for driving remember the village center is at over 2000m, make sure you have proper tires and consider a 4 wheel drive vehicle in the winter period.
I'd rather stay in the center than up the mountain in the surroundings, or at a hotel in the middle of the ski slopes.

Great snow sure resort, expansively pisted and ideal for progressing intermediates. Town Centre great for the Cretaz lifts to get you onto the mountain with a short (easy) ski across to the Plan Maison hub, but be aware that the main gondola/cable car, is a 10 minute steep walk up from the Town centre. The Town may not be as charming as some resorts, but has some great eating options for families from a burger at the Black Hole and waffles at the Ice Cafe, to fab pizza at Al Solito Posto and great steak and grills at Jour et Nuit. Getting there by public transport from Turin was hassle free, with a train to Chatillon, and hourly bus (503 by Attiva) up the valley from the station, although both bus and train can be busy.

The location is perfect especially if you go before december 1st. During the week maybe around 100 people on the slopes which was actually great as i was there with my kids. So i was able to actually enjoy skiing without worrying about my kids being in any sort of danger.
If the weather is nice the experience is perfect. Even when it's not there are things to do around provided you get a car.

Hotel was very nicely presented and had everything we needed. Room was clean and comfortable with great shower and bathroom. After a 2 night stay in the hotel we stayed on in Cervinia staying in our campervan, the hotel was good enough to allow us continued use of the Ski room to keep our boards and equipment. As well as looking after your bags when you check out for a days skiing they also let you take a shower when you get down off the piste. Really friendly and accommodating staff, will happily stay again.
This hotel is true, old world, alpine luxury. The location is exquisite - in the beautiful valley at the base of the Matterhorn (Cervino); ask for a room with THAT view. They accommodate pets. But it all starts with the staff - all with excellent attention to details, helpful and friendly. Go to their bar and sample cocktails at the huge lobby fireplace or outside. Special note of the barman, who new his stuff. The SPA is excellent and very clean. The rooms are great, with all amenities.
Perfect location on the red piste number 3, where - even in April - we could ski to the door and leave the skis in a special locker room downstairs. Lovely views from the raised location above the town. Amazing shuttle bus service up and down to town on demand. Staff were super-friendly and helpful. Breakfast great - plenty of food and good variety. We also enjoyed chilling in the hotel a couple of evenings and enjoying their wine and sliced cheese and meat board.
Beautiful place, tastefully furnished, with washing machine and dishwasher. Truly ski in- ski out location. Warm and cozy. Big fridge, well equipped kitchen, easy access to wifi. Closed parking and ski deposit. The place had instant coffee, tea, olive oil and some basic spices. There was also washing liquid for clothes and washing dishes in hand. The place was generally clean. Very good mattress in the big bedroom.
+ Friendly and helpful staff.
+ Nice breakfast, especially we liked croissants as they vere super fresh and buttery.
+ Good location of the hotel (ski-in, ski-out).
+ Ski-doo service (for getting down to the city and up to the hotel) was super helpful and fun!
+ Nice restaurant to have both lunch and dinner when you don't want to go to the town.
Brilliant location for ski in/out. The hotel is next door to a ski rental shop where you can buy ski passes as well.
The Base Camp pizzeria is right next door as well, and serves the best pizzas we ever had. The wine is good and it’s all decently priced.
The receptionist Tonia is an asset to the hotel. She is very friendly and approachable.
Hotel is surprising well setup, good staff and ski room is excellent with heated bootwarmers etc. Lovely central location at the end of the main high st close to excellent a selection of excellent, quiter more traditional bars and restaurants. Not really a clubby type place althought there was a club.
The hotel was FABULOUS. We literally cannot wait to come back. The family were very welcoming and all the staff were charming. Lovely room, amazing dinners, we were so happy there. The ski boot room and all the facilities work really well. The roof top sauna was brilliant! You HAVE to stay here!
The apartment is recently refurbished in a cute mountain chalet style. The bed and sofa bed are comfortable. The apartment is very well appointed, close to the ski slopes and town centre, and is very quiet. Plenty of hot water. The management and instructions for the apartment were excellent.
Great location, very close to the chairlifts & to the main street (bars & restaurants).
Good ski rental in the hotel itself.
Good breakfast with an Italian barista, making great coffee.
Outstanding staff (great recommendations; very helpful with dinner reservations).
Beautiful and new hotel, with great spa. The personal was very nice, the rooms were very clean, and change out towels even twice per day. Bus shuttle until the ski slope, rental ski and everything u need for ski and snowboarding in the hotel.
The place was clean. There is a convenient complex with a ski rental shop, ski school, restaurant and coffee shop/grocery store.
The apartment has good facilities. Check in and checkout very easy.
Plenty of parking on the street.
We had the best experience in this lovely hotel. We stayed here during our ski vacation and everything(!) was perfect - the staff, the architecture, the ambience. We sure will come back there!
Very cute hotel, warm and traditional vibe, friendly staff, it has all amentities needed for a nice ski trip (ski shuttle, breakfast, parking, spa, ski room, etc).
