Belluno is a lovely little town and the surrounding area has much to offer.
I was there for work so little time to explore , Great ice cream at Novecento ( Astra hotel).
The accommodation I stayed in Dolomite suite) spoilt the experience but the kindness of the staff of the hotel I moved was reassuring and ensured my safety.

It is a charming village, bigger than most in the area, but some parts of the historic centre are in terrible disrepair. There are lots of bars and gelato shops, but too few restaurants that actually serve warm meals. Most good restaurants have all the tables reserved by locals in the evening, so it is a bit of a struggle to eat out on a whim. Also, the restaurants serve lunch and dinner according to a fixed schedule, so don't even think of having pizza or pasta at 4 or 5 in the afternoon!

We used Belluno as a point to sightsee in the surrounding areas.
It is an easy town to navigate; has some interesting historical buildings and was fun because of the “mercato” on Saturday.
People that we met were friendly.

Only ventured into Belluno itself on the last day for an hour or so as we were staying about an hour out on foot. Stunning location though and the town seemed quaint with lots of interesting buildings and pedestrian areas.

The hospitality was superb; hosts friendly and welcoming.
The hospitality was superb; hosts friendly and welcoming. We were greeted by Paulo with Prosecco, and shown our very comfortable, tasteful and large room.
We dined with the other guests around the table for delicious, home grown or locally sourced fare that was lovingly prepared and beautifully presented.
Enjoyed sitting on the balcony overlooking the mountains.
We felt comfortable, welcome and pampered. I hope to return for a longer.
The location was the best thing about Hotel Cappello. Very central, yet on a quiet side street, close to shops and restaurants. Not far from the train and bus station, which is ideal for those who, like me, rely on public transportation.
Belluno is a good base for day trips. Cortina is the most glamorous in the area, but there are many more destinations (Alleghe, Pieve di Cadore, Falcade) to mention just a few.
The hotel staff was polite and helpful and the room was clean.
Hands down, the best Hotel that Ive been into in Italy. Breakfast Italian Style but really good, Room, big enough with a big size TV, really clean, but the highlight of the room Was the Bathroom. The Bathroom in this hotel was the best that Ive seen in a hot in Italy. Clean, big, with a big shower.
Internet quality really good, also worked from there and everything was really ok.
This was a treat! Who needs Tuscany when you can come here and have the best of everything. Friendly, attentive hosts, some of the best breakfast food I had in Italy, Prosecco made on site (so was all the breakfast food fyi) comfortable and quiet rooms, a full kitchen and all the hiking you could want for days! Make this place a priority!
A beautiful getaway in Belluno. The rooms are well equipped and guests can access the common room with a kitchen. There was a sauna and turkish bath in the room, and for additional fee it's also possible to access the outdoor hot tubs. The host has written extensive tips for local sights and restaurant recommendations.
Brand New and very well decorated b&b. Spacious room. Most beutiful place, nice host, and stunning views. One of the Best places i stayed during my travels iand over 100 stays at hotels b&b, agroturismos, etc on 6 continents since the year 2016.. bicycles rental too. Own energy production and many solar panels.
This hotel was an unexpected gem. Wasn't sure what to expect but it was fantastic. Room was super spacious as they unexpectedly upgraded me which was great. Very modern. Staff was great. Facilities were fantastic. The outside patio bar/cafe seems to be the popular meeting hotspot amongst locals.
Spacious, light-filled, clean and beautiful self-contained apartment with a balcony and bedroom with an expansive view of the majestic Dolomites. The apartment is located near a lovely park and within walking distance to the historical centre, all attractions and the Belluno train station.
The property owner is so kind and helpful. I would say " Yes " to the friends and families who are travelling to this hotel. Its clean, neat and safe.
If I ever plan a next trip to belluno or dolomites, Albergo mirella, will be my first option for a comfortable stay over night.
The staff were so kind and helpful. We were looked after so well. They also suggested restaurants and gave us tips on places to visit. The location is beautiful and the hotel is super comfortable and stylish. You can feel the history. Thank you so much.
So huge apartment!
Everything is comfortable, it’s like a hotel but better.
Very clean, a lot of towels.
Excellent location in the center of Belluno.
Two bathrooms and two bedrooms.
Easy to find and to pick up the keys.
Parking is always available
Everyone at this place is so nice. You can have a nice stroll on their land and the view is amazing. Everything is clean and very cozy. Besides that, the food is amazing! I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Northern Italy!
Wow, wow, wow! This place just outside Belluno was outstanding! New, super clean, modern conveniences, beautiful atmosphere, and a good breakfast. Our one night here was the most luxurious of our two week trip.
The lovely view of the mountain and beautiful landscape. The great facilities and amenities. Only 10 minutes drive from Belluno town centre. 6 minutes drive from an excellent restaurant too!
Didn't realise we were booking such a lovely hotel in a beautiful town! Great location close to the main square, room and bathroom were great, lovely breakfast, great laundry service
