Belluno is a lovely little town and the surrounding area has much to offer.
I was there for work so little time to explore , Great ice cream at Novecento ( Astra hotel).
The accommodation I stayed in Dolomite suite) spoilt the experience but the kindness of the staff of the hotel I moved was reassuring and ensured my safety.

It is a charming village, bigger than most in the area, but some parts of the historic centre are in terrible disrepair. There are lots of bars and gelato shops, but too few restaurants that actually serve warm meals. Most good restaurants have all the tables reserved by locals in the evening, so it is a bit of a struggle to eat out on a whim. Also, the restaurants serve lunch and dinner according to a fixed schedule, so don't even think of having pizza or pasta at 4 or 5 in the afternoon!

We used Belluno as a point to sightsee in the surrounding areas.
It is an easy town to navigate; has some interesting historical buildings and was fun because of the “mercato” on Saturday.
People that we met were friendly.

Only ventured into Belluno itself on the last day for an hour or so as we were staying about an hour out on foot. Stunning location though and the town seemed quaint with lots of interesting buildings and pedestrian areas.

The hospitality was superb; hosts friendly and welcoming.
The hospitality was superb; hosts friendly and welcoming. We were greeted by Paulo with Prosecco, and shown our very comfortable, tasteful and large room.
We dined with the other guests around the table for delicious, home grown or locally sourced fare that was lovingly prepared and beautifully presented.
Enjoyed sitting on the balcony overlooking the mountains.
We felt comfortable, welcome and pampered. I hope to return for a longer.
Wow what an incredible place to stay! Our stay with Barbara was the highlight of a 3 month trip. The property is unbelievably beautiful as is the surrounding area. The whole thing is perfect. Would travel back to Italy just to stay here. Barbara is a gracious host and will help you with anything you need. The house is well stocked and great to prepare meals in. Can’t recommend enough.
The hotel serves as a good starting point for the sightseeing tours of the Dolomites. The rooms are air-conditioned, there's a free parking available, breakfast included in the price. Our room was quite spacious and not at all noisy (located opposite the road). The pizza in the hotel restaurant is very good (we didn't try anything else from their menu).
The host is absolutely amazing. She was so nice and friendly, she drove us into town, she told us about the history of Belluno and came with recommendations where to go around the dolomites. The place is clean and comfortable, there is different options for breakfast and we got local postcards; she thought about it all.
Spacious, light-filled, clean and beautiful self-contained apartment with a balcony and bedroom with an expansive view of the majestic Dolomites. The apartment is located near a lovely park and within walking distance to the historical centre, all attractions and the Belluno train station.
The hotel was overall very nice, with friendly and very helpful folks at the front desk and our room was large and mostly comfortable. The location was good but not great. The food and drink was good, and the breakfast buffet was generous. The property is beautiful.
So huge apartment!
Everything is comfortable, it’s like a hotel but better.
Very clean, a lot of towels.
Excellent location in the center of Belluno.
Two bathrooms and two bedrooms.
Easy to find and to pick up the keys.
Parking is always available
What a fabulous traditional hotel, in the heart of Belluno. Has a modern new wing, with spacious family/suite rooms too.
With free car parking for residents, Belluno is a great location with Rich history, and great access to explore the Dolomites!
Charming “Farm stay” outside Belluno. We did it without a car, but having a vehicle would be much more convenient. Loved spending the evening with views of the mountains, meadow and goats. Marina was helpful and friendly. Good breakfast.
Everyone at this place is so nice. You can have a nice stroll on their land and the view is amazing. Everything is clean and very cozy. Besides that, the food is amazing! I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Northern Italy!
The host is a lovely man who even gave us a free lift to the train station afterwards. Truly impossible to complain about this B and B. The walk into historical Belluno is really nice as well although it’s about 15 minutes
everything you need in central town area of Belluno. the staff were friendly and accessible via WhatsApp for information and questions. it has secure parking in a garage available. the check in and checkout was easy.
