Asiago is a very pretty and characteristic alpine town. In summer there are pretty walks you can do and in winter you can enjoy skiing. The shops and cafes are good quality and the local people are very friendly and helpful.

The staff was so nice and gave recommendations for everything from restaurants to interesting spots to visit in the area. We came to Asiago after hiking the 52 Tunnels hike and spent our day in the area visiting the WW1 memorial in Asiago and the Sentiero del Silenzio about 20 minutes drive out of town. Both were sobering and moving and a must see for understanding the history of this beautiful area

The hosts only speak Italian and very little English. The room itself however was nicer than expected after this odd welcome, cool and clean.
