This is a true gem on a quiet location. Traditional yet modern accomodation with one of the best hosts in the world (Jasmina) who definitely enjoys (and lives) for the premises with her full heart & soul.
There are just no words to describe our experience.
From the welcome drink to the decent gym with small bouldering wall in the cellar (which provides a nice option if the weather is not on the dry side) - yes, it might be handy to have some climbing shoes in your bag 😉, stunning sauna premises, kids playground outdoors...
Our daughter even was welcome to help feed the farm animals and do some "work" around the premises, which I really appreciated.
Not to mention our appartment.
I would give 10 more stars for not having TV in the appartment. It just makes enjoying the moment much much easier.

The beautiful paths to Vodnikov razglednik and Galetovec (ca 10 km roundtrip each) start just from the yard, Pokljuka & Rudno polje are less than 10 minutes away, from there you can reach the mountain tops or simply enjoy the cross country skiing routes or visit highland marshes, less than 30 minutes away is Bohinj lake and Aquapark... So all you need for an active vacation that will clear your mind.

The host was warm and welcoming, brought us a welcome snack and drink. The apartment was very homey and clean with everything you need for a stay, and it is barely 10 min drive to Lake Bohinj. It's quiet and great for staying in the area. There's free parking right in front of the house too. Two supermarkets (Spar and Mercator) are very close by.

She not only helped us find an honest mechanic, but also helped us find a reasonably priced rental and organised transport to Ljubljana to pick up the rental. The apartment is located in a quiet and peaceful area up on the hill. A quite steep, narrow and curvy road leads to it from the town, but one gets used to it after a few trips driving up and down. There is a stunning view from the hill down to the valley and to the surrounding mountains. The apartment is quite big, comfortable and clean, enough to accommodate 6 adults. It is very well equipped. The hosts are exceptionally friendly and helpful. We had a little accident and they did everything they could to assist us.

Great for hiking, great for dogs. We always come here in summer, away from the heat. A small hike uphill will take you to a beautiful scenery of mountains and lake Bohinj and to the remnants of old border fortifications from the interbellum. Great for kids, there is a playground on the neighboring campsite.
