A terrible place . Don’t stay here. We saw nobody, the place was closed our entire stay so we had to check ourselves in and out. Really confusing and worrying when you arrive at sunset and have paid up front. The listing lies: No free WiFi No free breakfast No 24/7 open reception Rooms too hot with no individual heating controls Wild dogs roaming around Not suitable for young families like us.

She gave us great tips to explore the area, and more importantly, started the breakfast 30 min earlier on the check out day as we needed to leave for the airport. The small hotel looks like their home, treated with love and care. Food is delicious, bedroom is very comfortable and location is very near Villa la Angostura's centre, allowing you to walk there and leave car behind Location is fine, as you can go to Cerro Bayo in 10 min by car, and walk to city centre

That was so nice after a day of walking!! - we went for dinner at a restaurant nearby, there are a few good ones right on the main road (2 mins by car). Villa la Angostura is just a few miles along the road. You do need a car to get around.

Lake View Rooms are large and comfortable, although furnishings are a bit dated. Staff were friendly and polite, especially the wonderful Magdalena who fielded our many requests with remarkable patience and efficiency. The food at the restaurant was excellent. Highly recommended facility, wish we could have stayed longer.
