Beautiful mountain, amazing views.. fresh air and a lot of things to do there.. Everything is so simple and life is so nice there.. people are so polite. Black lake, Bobotov kuk, savin kuk, zminje lake.. so many pure nature for see. Food is super amazing, everything homemade, cheese, milk, eggs you can get fresh every day if you ask for it..

The cozy town is surrounded by stunning nature. Not a lot of people, but two supermarkets are located with walking accessibility. Winter views like alpine. And of course, amazing coniferous forests. Be careful - it is easy to fall in love with this place.

The town is just a starting point for all sort of adventures, there's nothing to say about it - just hotels and restaurants, but the Black Lake is within a walking distance, and lots of other beautiful places are around.

Žabljak is the perfect place for hiking lovers.
Žabljak is the perfect place for hiking lovers. There are plenty of options around for all kinds of levels. Be advised that crossing the national park from Sedlo to Žabljak over Bobotov Kuk is harder than what it seems on paper! That was my first hike there and I completed it but was really tired afterwards and did finish in the dark. The face of Bobotov Kuk that is in the direction of Žabljak is made of loosse rock and is quite steep. Bear that in mind. Card acceptance is half and half, so bring enough cash just in case. 3 hiking routes recommendations: 1) Bobotov Kuk (choose based on your level and experience, and START EARLY!) 2) Chill stroll around the lakes (Black, Green and Brown) to let the legs rest 3) Planinica hike, beautiful views according to reviews (I had to turn back halfway due to rain, again, START EARLY).

The environment in Zabljak is overwelming.
The environment in Zabljak is overwelming. The mountains are stunning and beautiful. It’s great to walk/hike (bring sturdy shoes), but we also liked the rafting on Tara river very much. Expect no big rapids in summer, but it was a tremendous beautiful trip through the canyon. We loved it!

Zabliak is beautifully situated right next to the Durmitor...
Zabliak is beautifully situated right next to the Durmitor National Park which is the main attraction - and to be honest - the only attraction. The place is not particularly beautiful and the many construction sites do not give reason to expect that it will soon become more beautiful. There are some restaurants that have adapted to the tourists, i.e. moderate service and comparatively high prices. The place markets itself as a hiker's paradise, but offers only comparatively few hiking trails. A big annoyance are the quads that drive around everywhere, even in the national park and can negatively affect the hiking holiday in the long term. The Durmitor National Park is very beautiful and the drive on the Durmitor Ring scenic road is highly recommended.

The location is excellent, as it's right next to the main road leading to the ski resort, offering a stunning view of the mountains. There are multiple trails nearby that allow you to explore the breathtaking nature of Durmitor Mountain. The hosts were incredibly friendly and always ready to assist with any inquiries. We highly recommend this place and will definitely return in the future.

The surroundings are truly beautiful. It's about 10 minutes drive to Žabljak, where you can find shops and restaurants. The apartment has everything you need. The English speaking son was not home but his parents are lovely people and it's no problem to communicate. A small problem with my rental car was quickly solved and even some Turkish coffee was offered. If I will go back to Durmitor I would definitely check in again!

Sladjana and her brothers were very welcoming and kindly responded to all our questions and needs. The location is great, it's peaceful and it's close to the town and the trekking trails. I would recommend a walk around the lake or doing the Durmitor's ring panoramic tour. A great experience all in all, will for sure come back next year!

The location is really good: easy to reach and in walking distance from Žabljak center where you can find all necessities (supermarket, tourist info, bars, restaurants, ATM). Also, you can park your car in front of the accommodation for free. Black Lake and Durmitor National Park can easily be reached from here.

The kids really enjoyed playing in the garden and the swimming pool (so did we). The area is beautiful, there is a lot to do (be aware that Zabljak (and stores) is at 20-30 minutes away by car). What made the stay so great was the family; they were very kind and we had really nice conversations with us (and they spoiled our kids :-)).

Hosts were kind and welcome, meet us near property at the evening, shown everything and suggested weekend activities. Place was quiet and clean, also it is a good restaurant few meters away. There are a lot of space in house for two families. Crno Jezero a beautiful gem of the Montenegro Durmitor just about 1km away and can be reached without car in half a hour.
