It is a nice little city with lovely restaurants and great grocery stores. We found nice shops and fun places to have cocktails by the sea. Luciano's is right across the street from the sea and has wonderful gelato! We had amazing meals at Capriccio (which has a sea view), and C"est La Vie. Bon Tapa has delicious food and and really tasty fresh made sangria. Mona Lisa also served delicious food, but is quite pricey. We love El Pascado for a more budget friendly meal, and Rumba has really great pizza.
The shore diving in Bonaire is really great! We went with Dive Friends for tank rentals a they have multiple locations to pick up and drop off tanks. Some of our favorite dive sites this time were, Torre's reef, Red Slave, Tolo, and Pink beach. All of these also have good snorkeling.
It's definitely busier in town when the cruise ships are in , but they are mostly gone by 5pm. Also, there is a schedule of when and which dock they will arrive at in the local newspaper.

Nice town, always felt safe. Very friendly overall.
Nice town, always felt safe. Very friendly overall. Expensive, but this is to be expected on an island where everything is imported. Cruise ship "tourons" overwhelm downtown during the day when boats are in. Great eating options.

Everything in walking distsnce. We ate at the Trocadero and the Club Boulevard. Fantastic. The service at the Club B was outstanding. David the person serving our table is his weight in gold worth for every restaurant owner. The food fantastic. Also for me as vegetarian. Price vs quality very very good.

Bring your own wash clothes, I felt not fully cleaned.
Bring your own wash clothes, I felt not fully cleaned. You will need a taxi because there is nothing to do but beach in the area. The room 4 I was in was right by the lobby and it was noisy, at night they only serve pizza and it was not good. I would stay closer to the downtown area if I went again because you can walk and do things. The only good thing is if your looking to do nothing, this is the place to stay. My room was supposed to be a deluxe but it wasn't. It was like a dorm room. I couldn't open window because of bugs flying in.

Out of the three islands I found Bonaire the best bargain.
Out of the three islands I found Bonaire the best bargain. Arube is more for a pricy beach vacation, largely for americans. Curacao has a lof or dutch and british party crowd. I found there to be an unpleasant vibe from the locals. Most things are run down.
Bonaire, there is a pleasant vibe, great snorkling all around, and easier to get around by car or scooter.
Our stay was nice. We booked 2 weeks before for 2 nights however something went wrong in the system so owner had double booking: on his behalf he organized that we were even picked up at airport and stayed nicely in another hotel for 1 night. Well done!
Second night was good. Decent room on corner of hotel with good bed, aircon, bath room and balcony.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Location is perfect: right at start of city center with supermarket close by.
Great location, great owner that is very helpful and is fast to respond. Next to the hotel there is a delicious Mexican restaurant, and the hotel has a nice pool to use with very comfortable beds. The room overall is very comfortable as well, but the door did make some noises because of the wind. Other than that, had an absolute great experience with great service.
No staff/receptionist at the hotel. Received an app telling us how we could get the key when we arrived: in a box outside the hotel. Door of room did no close, we sent an app and did not recieve any response neither on our reminder. We did not see any one of the hotel during our whole stay. In room no tv, no fridge, no telephone.
Lukas is an amazing host. He’s very friendly and always helpful in accommodating your wishes. Our room was new, very clean and stylish.
The Hut is situated next to a Mexican restaurant that also serves tasty food - perfect to eat out or take away to your hotel room.
Would definitely visit again!
Spacious, beautifully decorated, well furnished condo with a sea view. Easy parking and gracious host, Irene. Lots of fish to see snorkeling in front of hotel. Everything we needed for outings was provided, including beach towels, cooler and bags. There were Books about the island, games, TVs.
The staff was outstanding, Boaz and Karoline were top notch! Great service, well kept place, clean and comfortable rooms and beds. Really nice to have an adult oriented quiet hotel, all the guests were outstanding
Too great mix! I rarely do this but I’d say 5 stars well earned!
Bridanda is a charming boutique apartment with a fantastic host. The nice pool is perfect for a refreshing dip and we loved the little kitchen in the apartment. The pleasant surroundings are easily accessible to Kralendijk, and the airport is just a 10-minute drive away.
Great property very close to the airport and beaches. The room had all the amenities we needed to buy food at the grocery store and fix a few meals. It is very convenient to the beautiful beaches in the southern part of Bonaire. The staff was great and friendly as well.
The location was perfect. Kralendijk and Eden beach were easily reachable by foot. The outdoor area of our apartment was great as well as the common outdoor space with swimming pool and terrace. Jarl and Christine were really friendly and always ready to help.
The hotel is located right in the center of the island across from the beach. The room was clean and comfortable. The upper floor had a large living room and a big balcony. We really enjoyed our stay and we will be back. This hotel is 100% recommended.
This hotel used to be quaint and characterful, now it's a little old ant tired.
The main reason for people staying here is the scuba diving BUT the coral isn't that good (bleached and dead) and the standard of diver is sometimes very very poor.
The hosts were amazing. The hotel is quiet. The location is great. The beds are comfortable. The little details are appreciated. The BBQ. The dive lockers. The palm trees make everything nice and private.
Nice and newly renovated rooms. We loved the pool area and the overal vibe of the hotel.
Joris was very helpful and gave us lots of good tips. I do recommend hiring a scooter or car!
it's right middle in down town Kralendijk. A very interesting building, nicely painted. the rooms are clean even though in the citycenter it's calm and relax for a great night sleep.
