Lovely hotel, very reasonable price. The beds were the comfiest I have stayed in for a long while! Free parking was also an added extra. Close enough to the town center to walk. Lots of steps on the way back but we enjoyed the exercise.

We found Puerto Rico dGC to be a pleasant town, which benefits from much more sun than the north of the island we found (can be raining up North but sunny down south).
Yes, the architecture could be much better, but that is like every resort on Gran Canaria - what happens when property developers rule.
The harbour is attractive with some reasonable restaurants and two lovely informal ones on either end of the harbour (Vivaldi on the Eastern End and in the west - forgot name) it's the only one right on the harbour.
PR has a big shopping mall which I am sure shoppers will delight in, but as we hate shopping... The hypermarket is great.
We had a hired car, but the bus service seemed to go everywhere on the island. It can get crowded to popular places like Puerto Mogan (PM is massively over developed, very crowded and the market by the bus station is rubbish - avoid market days!). There is a ferry service to PM which we used on the return trip. It was a very pleasant trip; we used it to go south one day, just for the ride.
The downside is it is a long journey to get to the inland towns which are further north. As the crow flies, very short, but you have a choice of small scenic roads - loads of hairpins and some impassable if raining - or a long diversion trip up the motorway and still the small roads at the end. Plan 1.5 - 2 hours each way if driving.
Overall PR was probably the nicest resort we saw. We wouldn't go back to Gran Canaria, much prefer Lanzarote, but we had a good time; glad we went and pleased we chose Puerto Rico.

I like Puerto Rico ..
I like Puerto Rico .. This was my 31st visit so that speaks for itself
The weather is always good here in January There are a lot of steps so it would be unsuitable for people with mobility issues. The restaurants I would recommend are El Gaitero San Miguel Pinocchio
Big Daddy’s Don Quixote I would avoid staying at Porto Bello apartments

Main marina and surrounding area itself is ok but nothing to write home about .there are shops along the marina and they are rip off . My wife asked for a standard packet of paracetamol was €11.80 so she obviously didn’t purchase and bought them elsewhere for under €4.
We stayed outside of the main area in Gloria palace hotel which was fabulous

Lovely beach and a pleasant walk to Playa de Amores along a promenade. There are also 3 shopping centres beyond The Angry Birds adventure park with masses of shops, supermarkets and restaurants. The newest one Mogan Mall which has free buses from Maspalomas wasn't very busy but has free Wi-Fi. We also watched three young men playing in an impromptu group knocking out some lovely music. Funnily they were playing on the edge of town so weren't seen by many people. Pity really.

Central. Close to beach and restaurants. Lovely clifftop walkway to Amadores beach (bit hilly in places but negotiable at steady pace). Puerto Rico beach only 2-3 minutes from apartments. Accommodation very clean and well maintained. Hotel employees very welcoming and helpful. Better English speakers than my Spanish😄. Rooftop pool gets sun all day with good pool bar facilities. Plenty of sun beds available. Didn’t try pool but looked 👍. Restaurant with barbecue at nighttime with nightly entertainment.
The place was super clean, staff was very nice, amazing view from balcony, nice and romantic vibe during night. Breakfast was good, same every day. The room was big and had everything to make our stay comfortable. Loads of lights, cute balcony. The hotel was quite close to Puerto Rico Beach(10-15 minute walk), and the fastest way to go is through many stairs. If you are struggling with stairs, maybe you should consider the longer route.
Definitely recommended it! We had a lovely stay!
Location was good
Close to several other nice resorts, Puerto Rico, tauro, plays de cura, Puerto mogan, etc
Amadores and Puerto mogan beach are lovely.
View from hotel is lovely.
Hotel very clean.
Gentleman at reception is excellent and very helpful.
pool snack bar is excellent, and gentleman working there is a real asset to the hotel.
Palmitos park zoo is well worth a visit, 20 min away by car.
Underground car park real bonus.
Stefania and staff were friendly and welcoming. The apartment was well equipped and spotlessly clean, with a lovely view. Great pool. It’s in a quieter location of Puerto Rico, and about 10/15 min walk up a hill from the port. (the hill isn’t as bad as alot of other apartments). We walked up and down to centre of Puerto Rico. but taxis are frequent and about 3.50euro from the port.
would recommend these apartments, already looking for flights back there for next year!
This was my second stay at Bahia Blanca and like before, I love it!. The view is breathtaking from the balcony - just sitting out in the morning with a coffee is so relaxing! The apartment had very thing you need for your vacation. The balcony is very private and spacious - room for both table and sun beds. You can use the warmup pool or choice between to beaches -Puerto rico and Amadores. We liked Amadores better since it is with white sand and very clean.
The hotel based on the top of the hill. If you stay in the hotel, I would recommend to hire the car. Plenty of parking around. Breathtaking views from your room and pool guaranteed. Heated pool was a great unexpected addition. Food was lovely and freshly prepared. Reception staff is trying to accommodate all requests. There are some activities during the day and evening shows. You would not be disappointed if you book all inclusive.
The hotel is lovely, with great views of the bay from almost everywhere in it, especially in the restaurant with loads of window tables, and everywhere was spotlessly clean. The staff were all really nice and fun too, we went all inclusive and the service in the bars and snack areas was great, and the food options & quality were fantastic. We loved the spa area especially in the afternoons after a day by the pool.
Room / apartment was large and really nice with everything needed in there. Balcony was also decent size. Hotel was beautiful with two amazing pool areas and the location was great. Just around the corner from supermarket, pharmacy and loads of pubs. Food was really good, great selection every meals and all staff was very friendly. Loads of books in the lobby in many different languages.
The hotel gives the perfect solution if you want nice facilities but don’t like the idea of “all inclusive”. Children have a very good time but it’s not a playground (which I like). The pool is a lovely infinite pool and big enough for kids to play and others to swim at the same time. Both the lunch at the pool bar and dinner at the hotel restaurant are very good and reasonably priced.
Stunning hotel, super comfy beds, very friendly & helpful employees, immaculately clean & tidy, beautiful views, perfect pool/hot tub & Jacuzzi and convenient pool bar, very tasty and fully stocked breakfast/lunch, regardless of needs/wants. Parking available, very safe and secure, spacious rooms, quiet area, shops/bars/restaurants within easy reach by foot.
very good location 5-10 min walk to amadores beach and a similar distance to Puerto Rico. Good entertainment and buffet at the hotel. Staff are very kind and accommodating. Victor at reception (sorry if I got your name wrong) printed off some forms for me free of charge and was very helpful trying to help us book in for another night.
We stayed in a 2 bedroom flat and 1 bathroom, it's a nice size flat, the kitchen area is good, I think that the flat would benefit if there was another bathroom, as a family of 5 it was a bit of struggle. Good wardrobes in the flat and an easy car parking garage access. Good supermarket in the hotel, very handful.
Location is perfect for a short stay in the south of Gran Canaria. Apartments are well equipped and have a nice ocean view. The pool area is very nice. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Parking right next to the facility always had free spots.
The staff were extremely friendly. Rooms very comfortable. Lots of choice at meal times and 2 pool areas had ample sun loungers. Europa Centre literally 30 seconds walk from the hotel and small shopping centre located at apartments next door
