Thank you for the opportunity to stay at your hotel. The hotel is of the highest standard, the rooms and the view from them are the best I have ever seen. The gentlemen from the reception and the restaurant made every effort to make your stay at the hotel unforgettable. I recommend the best hotel in Selka.

matrass quality was not that good to sleep on a day before a big ultra run, and for the days to recover.
room temperature was also way to high around 24 25 °C while it was much cooler outside. even with the windows open it wouldnt cool down, and the air circulation system did not work while windows were closed.

Lovely seaside small town. Walkable and bikeable streets.
Lovely seaside small town. Walkable and bikeable streets. A few beaches nearby. Amazing restaurant strip on the seashore. Family friendly activities during the day. Day trips by boat to see dolphins. Friendly locals. A few older churches and bell tower, all free to visit. Not bustling, more of a relaxed vibe. Gorgeous views of the sea. A great day trip, or to stay for 2-3 nights. Bring a car but be prepared to pay for hourly parking by the sea as street parking is difficult (1.5 euro/hr, 31 euro 24 hrs).

Unfortunately we had terrible weather so our experience is not indicative of the norm. Umag appears to be the ideal place for families and tennis players. Lots of recreational activities (snorkeling, playing courts, rental for jet skis, ATVs etc.). There are walking & cycling paths along the built-up parts of the coastline from Katoro to Umag, but these are very crowded. There is a lot of bustle (and traffic) in the area even though there is a "mini train" to get around the various resorts. This is the place to go with other people to do stuff outdoors, and not to seek peace and quiet.

It's a good place for couples, but I'm glad I didn't bring my kids. Most beaches are super rocky and are not developed for families. Could use more varied cuisine, but pretty area and close to many wonderful wineries and olive oil makers. Locals are friendly. One resort seems to own the whole town and is obnoxiously big and intrusive

Umag is a very nice and small place, so you can go anywhere by walk. Prices in restaurants are totally fair. I’m suggesting you to visit Sea Star Festival, one of the biggest in that part of Croatia. Prices in stores are way too high.
Nice and very clean room. I was cycling around Croatia and I need a place to stay, my reservation was last a minute booking and I didn't see the terms and conditions that I had to contact the property owner 30min before my arrival. I got the place without warn him before (my fault), even not contacting him in advance Emil the property greet me with a nice smile, he was very friendly and welcoming a real Gentleman if I'm in the area again I'll definitely stay there again. Thanks million Emil for your kindness and support.
Lovely old school hotel, brought a lot of flashbacks from my childhood vacations. Family orientated, and mostly local tourists. This is not a fancy place for picky tourists looking for the luxury croatia of instagram or advertises. This is the real thing, "the mediterranean as it used to be". Location, the park and sea side, huge breakfast and lovely restaurtan are a big plus. Also the view from the room and the restaurant.
Very clean and spacious apartment with all necessary facilities, kitchenware etc. Free high speed internet. Owner: very nice and helpful gentleman. Location: close to the historic center of Umag, there is a factory beside it, however it was not noisy (the main source of noise were seagulls). Parking spot in the underground garage. There is a lift in the courtyard on the ground floor (it does not go to the garage).
The host had amazing food recommendations and tips to get around Umag. Very hospitable and extremely quick to respond to any requests. The tram is right at your doorstop so you can reach old town and the beautiful Blue Flag beaches in the north very easily for a few Kuhns. From the room you can view the beautiful bay of Umag with its charming Adriatic fishing boats. Would definitely come back again!
The hotel has a great pool area and small aquapark that was fun to visit. The breakfast was nice and had plenty of options. The parking fee is was very affordable compared to other hotels. We had a great time on the property as there is a very nice boardwalk that leads through the resort. The small train takes you from the resot to Umag was a wonderful way to get around.
The owner was very nice and helpful, and there were some goodies waiting for us on arrival. The apartment is bright and comfy and new, and we appreciated being able to wash a load of laundry. The shower was very spacious with great water pressure. There is a nice little grocery store a 5 minute walk away. It's a good location to Umag if you have a bike or car.
Great air-conditioning, spacious rooms, closets, couch, comfortable bed, and a nice sized shower. Parking all around the building and next door to a local restaurant. Many other restaurants within a close distance as well. Nice spread of European and Croatian breakfast items as well.
Absolutely lovely owner! Apartment with everything you need (even a coffee machine). Yard and garden was peaceful and cozy (lots of plants (fig and olive trees, kiwi and grapes). Free parking lot. Very close to palya laguna pool, wild beach, sand beach, beach bar etc.
Great place to stay in Umag. Good location, friendly and helpful hosts, parking available. Apartment itself is spacious, clean and comfy. Well equipped kitchen. Several restaurants, Lidl (supermarket) and city center are in a walking distance from the accommodation.
Walking distance to center (5 minutes). Free parking places 200m away. Very spacious rooms. Fully equipped kitchen although red wine glasses missing 😀
Very responsive and polite owner. No elevator but it is only 2 floors over ground. A solid 10 for this price.
We had a wonderful time at Ariana and Simon's house. The hospitality of the hosts is exceptional. Everything was perfectly clean, well-equipped, and the pool was absolutely pristine.
Thank you once again, and we look forward to the next time!

Small and wonderful family hotel, located on a small bay in a quiet and calm place.
comfortable and extremely clean rooms, quick and helpful staff, very fast and reliable wifi.
and above all - amazing hospitality by the owning family. Highly recommended!
The camping is in a peaceful and green area with great view. Kanegra is a great starting point for trips to Croatia, Slovenia and Italy. The size of the apartment is comfortable. The view from lower apartments are beautiful.
