Located close to the Gaudi house. Near the town square and Camino trail. Located 10 minutes from the beach. The staff was welcoming and friendly. Also loved their cozy TV lounge.

The view and sound of the sea from bed made it one of the best hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in. The manager was warm, funny and helpful.
Set against the Picos de Europa Mountains, this hotel in Trasvía has a large garden overlooking the Oyambre Nature Reserve. It offers rooms with heating, free Wi-Fi and a TV.

We stayed one night only on our way to Comillas.
The hotel is quiet and secluded, with nice view (if you are given a room at the right side).
It's far from the town center, you need your own wheels (like we had).
The room and the private bathroom were quite good and clean, all amenities working.
The host an exquisite person, lovely and amiable person, easy communication (little English spoken).
Situated in Comillas, this family-run hotel is 5 minutes' drive from the beaches of Comillas and Oyambre. There is a large garden, and all heated rooms include free Wi-Fi.

Comillas is a lovely small town with beach and the astonishing Capricho de Gaudí, well with a visit.
Our host, Jorge, could not have been more helpful with suggestions of places to visit and even accommodating us the watch the World Cup on arrival! We highly recommend it, especially for a family.

Lovely little town not too far from the motorway.
Lovely little town not too far from the motorway. Perfect place to overnight en route to Santander or use as a base to explore the area. Walkable if you’re OK with steep bits. Nice beach within walking distance. Good selection of bars and restaurants but worth noting that as in many touristy places out of season many of them are closed in the evenings. In future at this time of year (October) we’ll have our main meal during the day and snack/graze in the evening.

Apartment was very good, apart from beds.
Everything was clean (10) and well-equipped.
When scaffolding is removed, access to and use of private parking will be a bonus.
However, the garden was untended, with unusable chairs, table, clothes-drier etc. BBQ was full of cigarette ends.. Not a welcoming area.

It’s a lovely town with plenty to see and do. We stayed during a Fiesta and the atmosphere was great. We were on motorbikes and this stay was for the last 2 nights prior to sailing for England. We would certainly stay here again and use it as our base for rides into the Picos and also along the beautiful coast.
The hotel is light and clean and the staff were very good. I heard that a refresh may be happening this winter which would be good although not really necessary.

Plenty of choice for restaurants, and nice sea front plus historical sites.
Nearby is the Bodegas Miradorio which is worth a visit as it's a different presentation to many of the other vineyards we visited, as are the wines.

It was a lovely Spanish resort with plenty to see and do and a great selection of restaurants and places to eat. As we went in September the weather was good and the town wasn't too crowded! Nearby some lovely drives and the scenery in this part of Northern Spain is fabulous! Can't wait to go again.
Absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. Fabulous staff, every single one of them friendly, helpful and professional at all times. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel has a traditional interior and is beautifully decorated. The room was a decent size and the bed very comfortable. The hotel is within 5-10 minute walking distance to the town and historic buildings of interest and 15 - 20 minutes walk from the beach. The hotel restaurant is well worth a visit, the food was amazing!
We absolutely loved the apartment! It was newly refurbished and beautifully done! The beds were super comfortable. The view of the ocean from all the windows was wonderful. The host was very friendly and accommodating. The porch was lovely for a glass of wine in the evening. We were right across from two great seafood restaurants! We could not have picked a better location in Comillas!
A true 4-star hotel. great value for the money.
Silvio (hope I spelled that correctly), who worked the afternoon/evening shift, was exceptional at making our stay great. He made sure that we had everything we needed and helped with things like finding the optimal follow on transportation - and his English was outstanding. The breakfast was a great value.
Friendly, helpful welcome from Begoña, who even had a kettle waiting for us because we were English 😂! Secure garage parking.
Very comfortable beds, cotton bedding, great blackout blinds. Clean and well-equipped. Only a few minutes walk into town. Comillas old town is charming, the beach is lovely, sandy and safe for swimming.
Breakfast was included in our reservation (but not always) and was the standard European style breakfast. Our room was nice and had a balcony, although not all rooms have this feature (some just had skylights). The hotel employees were kind, and the front desk employees spoke English.
Clean, well maintained, lovely communication from owner, Marta, who could not be there for family reasons. Felt safe, well provided for, and were able to visit lots of places from it. Comillas is a good place to stay. El Capricho de Gaudí particularly merits a visit.
Very comfortable hotel - perfect for a Camino stay. Great pillows and bed. Good location just out of the centre of town but close to restaurants and Comillas attractions. I didn’t have breakfast but it was nice to be able to get an early morning cup of coffee.
Gilbert was very friendly and helpful. His English is good. He carried one of my heavy bags up to the room for us. The beds were comfortable and bathrooms modernized. The dinner meals at the hotel restaurant were excellent. Directly on the Camino route.
The back porch was wonderful. Location is outstanding! It is one of the beat hotels we have been to! Super highly recommended for the countryside feel, however walking distance to the main center. We wish we could have stayed longer!
Quiet and wonderful rural location. The space was very comfortable and amazing staff that provided great advice on how to explore the area. Pantry stocked with coffee, olive oil, vinegar was really nice to have.
perfectly located at the edge of town of Comillas and easily accessible by foot (a little hill). The accommodation is excellent and very clean and in the old Spanish style. All facilities available.
My room was very clean and spacious with a little balcony. The hotel was directly on the camino and my room was very quiet. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Good value for the money
Nice big room, modern hotel, some view to the sea (mainly on the golf course). Very fine swimming pool indoors. Opposite next street there is a very good steak house with garden.
Lovely location with pleasant garden and views of the mountains. 30 minutes walk or 5 minutes drive to Lively Comillas, shops, bars, restaurants and beach
