The grounds are beautiful and they were perfect for our two dogs and close to Barmouth beach which is what we wanted. There was a lovely walk that was very close by. Our room was lovely and we had everything we needed and we were located by the field with so many horses! We loved it and will be staying again.

Dolgellau is a small but compact town with shops and pubs...
Dolgellau is a small but compact town with shops and pubs etc easily accessible. Main car park by the river is on the edge of town but a minutes walk away from the centre. There could be more choice of restaurants and cafes but we found a hotel (The Ship) that served good food.

Beautiful, incredibly preserved small market town. The weather didn't allow us to explore close surroundingds as we wished. The town itself has got plenty of pubs, cafes, gift shops, art shops. The parking was not good steep narrow road I think once inside the property there was 44 steps or stairs some very steep and narrow, wouldn’t recommend to guests with any type of mobility issues. Lounge furniture needs replacing very old and uncomfortable lounge smelt musty. One of the bedrooms very damp with mushroom type mould Growing on wall and carpet. Bathrooms very nice modern plenty of them. Everything you needed supplied in the kitchen. Beds very comfortable lovely bedding. A well maintained property, with delightful hosts. Breakfasts very good. Lovely gardens and views of the countryside/hills. Room facilities good, comfy & cosy. I plan to stay here again when next visiting the area. I have no hesitation in recommending it to others. Good base for lots of things. great walking area. I used it as a base for a golfing break as it's in the centre of a triangle of some great links golf courses incl St David's [Harlech], Aberdovey, and Porthmadog, And the spectacular Welshpool GC with amazing views over 5 counties! We stayed in the Gwendd room which was tastefully refurbished. Bathroom was also fabulous. Little extras in the room were very much appreciated - nespresso machine, nibbles, cakes, chips, shortbreads and still and sparkling water in the mini fridge - all complimentary. Dolgellau was an intersting market town with much history and many hotels where we felt very welcome in. B & B was a 5 min walk into the centre.

There is simply so much to do in the area. Hill walking, watersports, cycling etc. The property was very spacious, with plenty of room to park all six of our cars. We absolutely loved the beautiful gardens leading down to the river, and the hot tub. Had the weather been poor, I'm sure we would have made more use of the games room.

My two children and I stayed in the "Stables" and it has everything you could possibly need for a holiday, full cooking facilities, fridge, freezer, large dining table, 3 bedrooms, including one with en suite. Great base from which to explore Snowdonia/Dolgellau, which itself is a beautiful town. The part of the campsite it's in is separate from everything else and at the top of the hill so you get lots of privacy, including a gate you can close to maximise the peace. The staff were welcoming and catered for all our requirements, the room was spacious and well laid out and we had a fantastic seating area in the window where we could look out and the balcony would have been used if it was a little warmer. The grounds and views are stunning and I can only imagine them looking better when everything is in full bloom a must stay if you can and it's in budget
