Bastion Hotel Dordrecht Papendrecht, hotel in Dordrecht

Bastion Hotel Dordrecht Papendrecht is situated 2,5 km from the centre of Dordrecht, and close to the typically Dutch, picturesque village of Kinderdijk and the Biesbosch Natural Park.

Room was ok, not too big but you have enough room for two people and their luggage. The shower is nice.

Villa Augustus, hotel in Dordrecht

Housed in a former water tower, a 15-minute walk from Dordrecht’s historic centre, Villa Augustus features spacious grounds including decorative gardens and an organic kitchen garden.

We stayed in a floating room. Although there is a plaque saying it dates from 1904 the barge itself is covered over and all that remains in a couple of sumptuous large rooms fitted with an enormous bed. The hotel itself is quirky and in great condition. We loved it. Top tip - give yourself some time to mooch around the hotel and the environs, it's exceptional.

Stayokay Hostel Dordrecht - Nationaal Park De Biesbosch, hotel in Dordrecht

The hostel Stayokay is a budget accommodation on the edge of the national park De Hollandse Biesbosch and near historical Dordrecht. It is situated in a green environment.

The room was amazing, fantastic decor, reminded us of Matisse or Hockney. Breakfast was top class and great value for money, and the dining room was very clean and relaxing. Enjoyed the beers in the evening, and the music being played.

B&B Belle Chambre - Luxe in Art Deco stijl, hotel in Dordrecht

Offering city views, B&B Belle Chambre - Luxe in Art Deco stijl is an accommodation set in Dordrecht, 21 km from Ahoy Rotterdam and 26 km from BCN Rotterdam.

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely B&B. Sjoerd has done an amazing job in outfitting the rooms in Art Deco style and making them very comfortable in the process. The check in process was very smooth and we were delighted to discover how tastefully the rooms were decorated and how generously they were made ready for us. The range and quantity of the included food and drink was very generous, the bed was very comfortable, there were toiletries and slippers. Much thought had been involved in fitting out the rooms. Sjoerd is a generous, thoughtful and responsive host.

As many said, breakfast is cheap. Factory cheese and bread. Pastorised juice.. I checked back the photos because I never would pick such a location. Found out that the breakfast on the photo’s is not the same at all. - bread from bakery - rich fruit selection - more than one cheese - fresh juice

    The manager was extremely condescending.

The manager was extremely condescending. He acted as if he was doing me a favor by staying in his hotel. The hotel has a gate with a bell yo ring but the bell is not easily found after dark so yes I waited 30 minutes outside ringing the bell and no one opened the gate until a car and the gate opened. The manager blamed my incompetence. The manager refused to give me his name when I checked out but I could identify him by photo. Horrible experience thinking I would stay ocked out of hotel at 10 pm

We used to live in Dordrecht so it always feels like our second home. It's a lovely old own with plenty of unique shops, relaxing cafes, museums and nice walks around the canals. It is on the main train line from Amsterdam, The Hague and Rotterdam so it's easy to do day trips to these places. You can also take the water ferry to Rotterdam and various other places from Dordrecht.

Surprised how unspoilt and picturesque Dordrecht was.

Surprised how unspoilt and picturesque Dordrecht was. It's not set up for tourism, though they are used to people from out of town with all the boats in the marina. Lots of cafes, and a few good places to eat. Close to Kinderdijk with the windmills. We stayed overnight on a stop over, but could of spent a couple of nights there, though probably not much longer than that.

Stayed in Dordrecht for the Dordt in stoom festival and it was wonderful and we will be back if we can ! The old town is pretty and the steam boats provided a great atmosphere in the old port. The only problem we had was that some places - like the tourist office and ticket booths - did not take either visa or mastercard - luckily we manged to get cash out but would have been in trouble over the weekend if this had not worked.

Anne-Mieke welcomed us very warmly and showed us the lovely spacious bedroom. Very comfortable bed. The separate lounge was a lovely cosy room and our host made us a beautiful breakfast. Our hosts were very friendly and gave us really helpful suggestions to help us get the most of our time in Dordrecht and Rotterdam. The property is in a pleasant suburb about 10 to 15 minutes by bus from the centre of Rotterdam .

De Watertoren was a great and iconic place to stay. Tom and Lisa were really friendly, the restaurant and bar were great, and of course the rooms (with a view :D) were unique. The location is also really good if you want to explore both Dordrect and the nearby Biesbosch area. There is a frequent and easy bus service into Dordrecht which means no hassle with the car.

Jeannette and her husband even picked us up at the station. They were lovely!! What a find! The best view in the city, I wish we could've stayed longer! This is one of the best locations if not the very best location to stay at in DORDRECHT! The antique building with the best modern-day amenities one can ask for. 10+

Sebastian made sure we were at ease and comfortable in the flat. We had a very cozy room and he regularly made sure we had everything we needed. The room was very clean (more than many hotels…). Big kudos for the kitchen where we left everything we need for a nice coffee, tea + some chocolate treats!

It's a fantastic location in the old part of Dordrecht. Great cafes for breakfast, restaurants for meals, and bars are all within 5 minutes walk. The hosts, Bert and Connie, run the shop (open on Thursday, Fri and Sat) below the apartment and are extremely welcoming and responsive to messages.

The staff made this a wonderful place to stay. All of the staff we encountered were just the best. For example, we brought our 6-year old (a very picky eater), and they were so accommodating in helping us find something for him to eat. The hotel is also very clean.
