Rarotonga is a must if you are looking for a slow chilled...
Rarotonga is a must if you are looking for a slow chilled holiday, we loved it and we had a 6 month old with us. The people are all lovely and the food was quite divine, especially Takitumu tapus in Muri. The sea is phenomenal and we were lucky enough to just be out swimming by ourselves and see turtles. Resorts are welcoming even if you are not staying there. We were told it was pricey however we found it rather inexpensive, some things were on par with NZ and even a little cheaper at times for the quality. Loved our trip and will be back, note if you are there on a Sunday- most things are closed, however some eateries are still open just to be aware.

Our trip was amazing, however there was one theme that was a huge put off. Some of the places we went had absolutely horrible attitudes towards us. Rude with no greetings and sour faces, it is not nice to be treated like that. This was NOT at every place we went but it was enough times to stand out. Apart from that....it was a fun filled trip

Rarotonga is a great place to visit.
Rarotonga is a great place to visit. Its layed back and the weather is very nice. The beaches are great. We ate at Supper Browne in Tupapa at their cafe which was reasonably cheap steak meal. The local food on the early morning on Sunday was fantastic. Going to the movies could be good for young couples to spend some quality time without being too occupied with big expensive activities.

Enjoyed staying on the island of Rarotonga.
Enjoyed staying on the island of Rarotonga. Also did a day trip to Aitutaki. Both places were great for snorkelling, need water shoes to protect your feet from the coral. Night markets offered delicious food. We used the local bus to get around the island.JoanCanada

I love their seafood chowder and eggs bene. The room was great! It had everything we needed including a heat pump and a fan that faces the bed from the wall. It's peaceful and quiet although the place was booked out. I will come back here everytime I visit the cook islands 100% recommend. Thank you

This is a must-stay if you're looking for something more than just a hotel room. The pool is fantastic on those super hot afternoons too! Hosts are so wonderful, kind and helpful.
