Visited Faro de Cullera in low season so difficult to say...

Visited Faro de Cullera in low season so difficult to say what it may be like in July or August. Plenty of restaurants and bars around within easy walking distance. Beach is lovely. Very clean and good views across the bay. Would love to go again and stay for longer. Cullera is just over a half hour train journey from Valencia Nord, then Faro de Cullera is a short taxi or bus ride from Cullera train station.

Excellent location . Unable to exchange pound to Euro.

Excellent location . Unable to exchange pound to Euro. Nearest place to exchange Valencia- 60km by train Very Spanish. No one spoke English. All menu in Spanish. Excellent 3km long beach. Concrete jungle with 80,000 empty appartments. The old Cullera had more life and active.

Cullera is quite spread out, plenty of cafes, restaurants...

Cullera is quite spread out, plenty of cafes, restaurants and supermarkets, they have tobacco shops which is the only place to buy them and they are cheap. There is a market mid week and on Saturday, not too much there but great atmosphere and worth a trip. The bus and train service is excellent and great prices.

Cullera is a great place to visit if you want to be immersed...

Cullera is a great place to visit if you want to be immersed in the Spanish way of life. It is particularly good for anyone learning to speak the language as English is not widely spoken. It has a huge beach which is very safe. The promenade is long and lined with a variety of bars and restaurants. There are many cafes and restaurants in the streets behind the beach area well worth a visit. There is a wonderful tourist train which runs from the beach to the castle for 7 euros. Fantastic views from the castle which is also within walking and driving distance. The people are friendly and very supportive of attempts to speak Spanish. Will definitely return!!

We were very impressed of the cleanest of the entire town.

We were very impressed of the cleanest of the entire town. And we thought it was a very safe place. We saw police car all the time around. instead on the last night in the town our rent car was damaged. Someone flat our tire and a near car the same plus gasoline tank was emptied. Another night drunk people were walking on the middle of the streets:( This will leave a bit of sour thoughts about the area.

Lovely family run hotel in the centre of town so well located and the bedrooms have been beautifully designed. Very comfy bed, spotless bathroom and we loved the electric blinds which guarantee blackout. Downstairs there is a café run by the hotel owner where you have a tasty breakfast of bread, meats and cheeses with cakes and again the cafe has interesting quirky design features which makes it very special compared to most cafés we have visited in Spain. We highly recommend this place and would love to visit again.

Although it is a shared appartment with repect to kitchen, living room and roof top terasse, this wasnt seen as a disadvantage. In principle we could use these facilities by ourselves, and otherwise it was always nice to meet up with others. Claudia was indeed a fantastic host. She was speaking only spanish but had a good friend " Alexis" to translate where necessary :-). The location is at an easy walking distance to the center of Cullera (1.5km) with many eateries and shops, and to the beach (2km).

Excellent location, close to the beach, nice view from the balcony on the 16th floor, underground car park, washing machine, good wifi, collecting keys from a key-box (safe) with a code, so the final arriving time is not an issue. There was a welcome pack in the fridge when we arrived. Cullera is a good location for taking the train to Valencia (40 min, you can park in the big car park from Carrefour, opposite the train station).

It is a frontline beach location and the apartment is well equipped and very clean. The host was very communicative and helpful when I asked her for some information. She also left delicious oranges, lemons and grapefruit from local farmers, that was a nice detail. I would certainly come back if I return to Cullera and I recommend her cosy apartment!

The house is very spacious, clean and fresh in summer, there was enough space for all family members. The location is perfect - in the heart of Cullera with many local cafes, restaurants, small shops and a big supermarket. You can also take a walk to a beach through the lovely old city, 10-15 minutes only. The owner was very attentive.

Set down a side street just back from the beach, you can hear the waves from the room. Well located for beach, restaurants and bars. Pleasant stay in a simple, comfortable and clean room. Staff were welcoming and kind and I need to work on my Valencian phrases! Very good coffee in the morning. Easy taxi or short bus ride from Cullera.
