City Hotel Tilburg is located in the city centre, across from The Heuvel city square with fountains and terraces. The most important shopping street, the Heuvelstraat, ends here.

The breakfast was very good, and the room was cute and cozy. Just what we needed for one night. Nice view of the plaza and good water pressure.

It was close to the station and 013 podium where I was headed!! Nice and small, clean, and no one bothers you. The noise from the other mates can be heard a bit when they pass through the corridors but it’s nothing bad. I’d definitely come back again

The Tilburg Central train station does not have any officers to help and also does not have any office to buy the train tickets, which means you can not buy the train tickets with cash notes. :-(((((((
the city is not a big city but there are nice parks and historical buildings.
One of the best parks is there which is the largest theme park in The Netherlands. A unique park in the middle of nature. It is called Efteling.

A very quiet calm and balanced city.
A very quiet calm and balanced city. Most of the life happens at the Uni and the city centre . Nice shopping area where you can find a good variety of shops and places to eat. Nice pedestrian areas but many had reconstruction and were impossible to cross. Nice bars, a miniature port. Places of interest- a must see : the new city library, the uni campus, the Brabant natural museum. I did not have time for the rest of the touristic locations
The food was great, plenty of healthy offerings too.
Not all places accept cash.

It's very easy to get around in Netherlands especially through Sprinters trains and buses you can save money unlike cabs which are very much higher tariffs.

Came here on business for a week, it's so nice and the people are so lovely (without exception) that I extended my trip to 3 weeks.
Can't believe the number and variety of restaurants and bars, it's amazing. The shopping is great, lots of good shops, and they have late night opening on Thursdays until 9pm. The city is clean and safe, can't believe my luck finding somewhere so nice to stay. Will tag some holiday onto my next trip here to explore the area more.

I liked most that Tilburg is a safe town.
I liked most that Tilburg is a safe town. The Police are very active and do their job properly. I feel very secured and safe. Moreover, the cleanliness, the touristic facilities, the green spaces, the Town Hall services are great and I highly recommend them. Tilburg has many wonderful places to visit. The centre, the architecture of the town are worth visiting and admiring. If one enjoys eating, do not hesitate to try all the hospitable places that this town offers. It is quite easy to travel from one place to another using public transport and of course, the bike.

quite city, but everything is there
quite city, but everything is there
good & comfort for stay longer in the visit or even for living comparing with other big cities in Netherlands
the only problem is the city transportation is only busses (with limited routes) and taxi (with quite expensive). No Uber
The hotel is well located, at the very center of Tilburg. Everything was clean and working. the kitchen was really great, with everything to cook your own food. All well organized, clean and quiet, the external area was great too. And the hotel is located in front of a shopping with a supermarket in it, which makes a big differece if you are a low budget traveller…
Room was big and clean but they left the dirty cups from the previous guest there without changing (probably honest mistake, not a big deal). It's just 20-25 min walk to the city centre from the hotel. The location is perfect. There is a nice big park 5 min walk from the hotel, which is amazing. I would go there again if i visit Tilburg again.
Great place which is not that far from the city centre. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed + some extras. The bed was some of the best ones I've slept and the breakfast was extensive and varied. The owners have been a great host and you can really tell that they put in a lot of work and care into this B&B
The staff was absolutely great! They did everything to make our stay perfect. Even changed rooms late in the evening, because it was a bit noisy in front of the hotel- the Netherlands was playing a football match, and the hotel is smack in the center of the city. Ask for a room at the back if you prefer some quiet.
The villa is beautiful! My room was huge, a pleasant surprise after a tiny hotel room in Amsterdam. Comfy bed, huge bathroom, coffee machine. Very close to the train station, very convenient. There is an additional kitchen, but I didn't need to use it. Easy communication with hosts via booking chat.
Staff was friendly and helpful, they even helped us arrange transport to the hotel. Loved the smell of the handsoap. The breakfast buffet was great. The outdoor seating area was very enjoyable. Great location in the woods but not too remote that it's very hard to get to from the city.
The hosts were really friendly, great location with a lovely garden and close enough to the city but still remote enough to be quiet. Breakfast was great, different things to try each day. Love how eco-friendly they are, wish all B&Bs/apartments/hotels would work that way.
Itwas a great hotel and serve our purpose of our stay. We planned on walking to most places, this hotel was the closest to the Trappist abbey that want to visit. However, for exploring other parts of the city, this hotel is a little far out compare to other hotels.
The location was perfect, within walking distance from the Tilburg central station and very close to downtown where restaurants and shops are.
The apartment is very clean and homey.
Host was excellent, helpful and super easy to communicate with.
The hotel is located in the centre of Tilburg close to many restaurants, shops, and bars. The view from the room was quite nice. The breakfast and coffee selection was small yet pleasant with typical pastries, cheeses, and cold meats.
Kind of a busy street at night, noise was an issue till about 2am.
For the price of the room for a night, i expected more.
The hotel is very very basic. And there's nothing wrong with that. But not for this price.
Beautifully decorated, we had a nice surprise discovering our room, Michèl is very welcoming and we had a great (short) stay! Free parking is 5 minutes away and there’s a short 15min walk to the city centre.
It has been our second stay- we like the Individual rooms, the colorful interior, the friendly team, the nice view on Piushaven, the short way to the city centre, the fantastic breakfast
Very cool historic stay in Tilburg. Our dogs were welcomed by the host which makes traveling for us easier when we can bring them. Plenty of beds if traveling with a group.
