This is not the hostels fault but myself and another guest had a bad experience with the same taxi driver trying to vastly overcharge for a relatively short trip. The advice from the Police was to agree a price before getting into the cab!

After a fraught taxi journey from the bus station it was great to be met by a friendly and welcoming face. The hostel is well placed for the major sites of the city and is in a quiet street. The facilities were good and the room nice and warm on a chilly night. The quiet time between 22.00-8.00 was well respected by my fellow guests and I had a good nights sleep. Free coffee in the morning was a nice bonus.

Rooms were too small. There was not a hangers for hanging clothes. Bathrooms, smelled a bit moudly. The deodorant used to hide bad smell was rather overpowering....better not to use anything.

It’s to close the Main Street. The staff was great and it was really clean. You can’t feel like you are staying a normal hostel in Balkan’s. The curtains of the bed charger, private lamp and heating was great. There were places to leave your belongings while you are sleeping

The hostel's internal facilities are clean and cleaned every day. Probably the cleanest hostel in the Balkans. The bed has a curtain and the outlet can be connected to a USB cable. Skanderbeg Square is a 5-minute walk away.

I really enjoyed my stay at ODA Hostel. There's a nice meeting area in the living room, the kitchen is very practical and it's spotless clean everywhere. The beds are among the comfiest I've found in a hostel and the curtains make them private as well. There's a laid-back vibe and it's a good place to meet solo travelers. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Pristina!

I'm not taking any points away for this, but it would have been nice to check in a bit earlier. I know it's not something the hostel needs to do since there's a stated check-in time, but I like places that are more flexible with the check-in time especially when the beds are ready and free. Again, not a big deal, I just went to a lunch for an hour and came back. There's a deposit to borrow a locker key that you get back on check-out, but I had to wait about 15 minutes since there was no one at the reception when I checked out at 9:30 am. Might have just been bad timing.

Good place to spend a night or two in Pristina. There's a small kitchen to do some cooking, laundry service, and the location is pretty solid. The Pristina bus station is a bit further away from town, but there's a bus that runs pretty close to the hostel if you don't want to walk. The staff was a bit mixed. One guy was quite nice and helpful and another was a bit on the cold end and wasn't really helpful when I asked a couple of questions. Wasn't a big deal though. Bed was comfortable. There are small lockers you can use outside the room.

I really enjoyed my stay at the ODA hostel. The host was responsive and very helpful. The hostel is well designed, it has all the details that makes life as a traveler so much easier..… like a socket cube on each bed (with 3 plugs + 2 USB ports) and a holder for your frequently used items. There’s also more socket blocks and USB ports throughout the eating/lounge areas. The bathrooms were spacious, shower well separated from the toilet area, with a lot of hooks for your things, an extra toilet downstairs in case the one in your room is occupied, good hot water and water pressure. A window/vent in the bathroom so it doesn’t get stuffy, potable water, a towel to dry your hands (this was missing from the last 3 hostels I stayed previously), the room is spacious. Fast wifi. Very, very comfortable bed, pillows and blanket, I slept so well and was seriously thinking of extending my reservation just so I could sleep in. The sleeping area is separated from the lounge/eating area by 2 doors, so people can stay up late and chat in the lounge without disturbing the people sleeping. There is a washer and dryer. It’s 5 Euros for a load but it’s in the hostel. Very convenient. Actually one of few places I’ve seen with a dryer, probably the reason their sheets and blankets smell fresh not mildewy. I’m very impressed with how clean the hostel is.. .It’s also quite strict in terms of cleanliness (you have to leave your shoes by the door but they offer slippers, and no food or drinks in the rooms which I’m sure contributes to the cleanliness. The kitchen is small but well stocked with appliances and equipment. It’s also in a good location, a block away from the main square, surrounded by a lot of restaurants (including 4 vegan/vegetarian spots within 10 min walk) Plus there is a lovely gentle cat.

This basically felt like an unstaffed hostel. When I arrived there was nobody to check me in. When I wanted to check out I waited a while to find someone to give my key to. Also when you want to ask a question nobody is there. Despite this would still probably stay here again.

Highly recommend ODA hostel, it's great. The beds are comfortable, with good curtains and charging points, the kitchen and bathrooms are clean and well set up, you can pay with card (which isn't possible in most other places here), and the hostel owner is brilliant - helpful, knowledgeable, and very quick to respond. The location is right in the centre, and there's also an excellent cat.

There was a cat which had free reign of the common area and regularly walked along the kitchen counters - not very hygienic.
