Ordering breakfast each morning took way too long and staff often missed off items we'd asked for, so we were continuously re-asking with drinks often coming out after our breakfast and all meals coming out at different times.

Very bad place overall.. horrible Staff and extremely uncomfortable hotel. I booked two nights but could not stay there and checked out next day.

The kitchen and served food were average at best and sometimes not so good. Compared with the prices, one would expect better quality and particularly also more variety. The wine card was quite extensive but then we learned that basically nothing except the standard house wine in red and white was available. The room again was basically ok, but the bath definitely needs a thorough and complete renovation. The water pressure is mediocre and particularly in the morning when the demand is higher you could end up with almost no water flow at all.

The place lives definitely from its location. Located right at the Villa Beach with open view to the sea and adjacent located Young Island, it makes for the almost perfect Caribbean spot. Our room was also right at the front end of one of the hotel wings with direct ocean view. Sitting outside at sunset, enjoying the Caribbean atmosphere was one of the daily highlights.

The poor internet connection and the pool maintenance guy needs to attend to the pool early mornings.

Our experience at the hotel proved that one employee could really damper your spirits and spoil an entire stay. The initial person that dealt with us at the front desk, who showed us to our room, was kind and we had a few encounters with the cleaners that were pleasant. However, there's a particular worker at the front desk that seems to lack basic customer service...in fact, it's non-existent with her. I should have taken her name...I asked her for the restaurant menu to take pics of it. That seemed to be a problem for her, so she asked to send it via email, which she was given. We left St. Vincent and still no email. I went to remind her again and nothing...hubby eventually asked for it and she reluctantly gave it to him leaving out a few menus. Needless to say, every day we went elsewhere including Ada's restaurant next door to eat. I should not and do not beg anyone for service. She also had a bad attitude as though generally customers were a bother for her. We had no internet for our stay and had to buy a plan to ensure we were connected to the outside world for our excursions and airport transfer. My husband would have spoken to her on the internet issue and she showed no remorse. In fact, she was quite nonchalant about the issue and knew before hand that the internet was unavailable but didn't care to mention it prior. If you don't care about customer service and happen to have your own towels etc so you don't have to ask for anything, so that you are not treated as a burden,' then this place might be for you. Please be guided that the safe in the rooms do not actually work and are for decorative purposes.

The welcome drinks were a nice touch, and the room itself had a nice layout. A mini fridge, kettle, and even coffee were provided. It's located on the beach, which made our stay bearable. The cleaner also did a great job maintaining our room.

The food was disappointing. For the price I expected better than bare minimum. Also, I wish they had items on the menu for kids. The pool was dirty. Wish I was told an event was occurring before I booked. I wish someone on here had said not to book here on a weekend since whatever event is happening would disturb your sleep.

I didn’t like the way the chief spoke to the dinning staff with guess in the dinning room. He was not very professional. Made it difficult to enjoy my meal listening to him speak to them that way. In doing that I ate most of my meal out.

The breakfast was and dinner was amazing. The dining room staff was also amazing.

It is located in a unique place high on the hill, with a nice view of the bay. For people loving the beach, it makes logistics a bit more complicated. But, they run a complimentary shuttle bus to get you anywhere you want in morning and late afternoon/evening, so no big issue.

The facilities need updating, the pool was out of service And being repaired so we couldn’t use it, also our room needed to be updated especially the bathroom, the hair dryer had hardly any power and the ironing board was a death trap as it was broken and didn’t latch properly to keep it up and the iron kept leaking, there was no sockets by the beds to charge my mobile etc, had to go to the far end of the room to do this and also the internet signal is very weak on one side of the room, had to position myself by the patio doors to get a decent signal.

The Bar Staff were excellent, I would like to thank Hudson and Natalie for there help and kindness and most of all there service which was excellent also.
