Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThough in a nice area of the city, it’s a little far away from some of the tourist sites and is 20 minutes walk from the metro station. Absolutely fine though if you’re happy to walk a bit further
Comfortable and clean hotel in Tashkent. Breakfast was good and had many options. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly and were able to organise a transfer to meet us at the airport when we arrived

KazakhstanThe room at the angle of the second floor has very poor sound isolation, located just on the turn of the street it is very noisy. Breackfast is too basic. Opposite restaurant Zaitun (Afghani food) is not bad, but quite slowly staff, if you go there, be prepared to wait longer than usual.
Staff is quite friendly. Good shop at the next door buiding. Good area to walk around.

United KingdomI had a room with shared bathroom which was not clean. Staff explained that they had few Asian guests who making mess. In this case, I believe, cleaning should be done few times a day. Room haven't had a socket near the bed and a small light near the bed.
Location is perfect, close to town centre and good connection to airport. Breakfast is fine, standard for many other hotels. Really friendly and helpful staff.

EgyptMy room was right Infront of the kitchen/ restaurant, and I can hear people talking from the kitchen/restaurant. It wasn't so loud. It was just okay. People get excited maybe while eating and start talking without noticing how loud they could sound. I kind of did not enjoy this much, but by the time, I accepted it. It was okay. Other than that, I am satisfied overall.
I enjoyed my stay at the Art Hotel. It was my first stay in UZ. The staff were perfect. Their English level also exceeds my expectations since most of the places I visit generally speak Russian and poor English, but the staff at Art Hotel have excellent English, I'd say. The room size was okay for me. The facilities were what I needed for my stay. The cleanness as well. I'd say, I got the value I paid for, and it met my expectation. I'd recommend Art Hotel to those who are looking for a hotel in Tashkent with a limited budget, you'll for sure get the service with value for the money you paid. Also, they took care of my tourist registration, the printed out the document for me once I checked out.

United KingdomThe staff were very helpful and accommodating. The area was quiet (which I would want) and still within easy reach of a metro station and a nearby art museum which had beautiful stuff there. At breakfast the tea was delicious. I wonder if it is a special type of tea.

CanadaThe walls are very thin between room. Our shower didn't drain very well, the drain likely needs to be cleaned. Beds are very hard as is common in Uzbekistan.
Rooms are basic but clean, sheets and towels were clean, wifi was good. Breakfast was good with eggs, fruit, nuts and bread and Uzbek food, coffee and tea. Location was good, 1 km walk to metro station where there are some nice restaurants. Shower had good power and hot water.

AustraliaQuite a good hotel in an area surrounded by several other hotels. The tariff is very reasonable, the WiFi and aircon are strong, the hot water responsive. The area in which this hotel is located is favourable. There is a bunch of restaurants serving Asian & western foods, a liquor store, and convenience stores. A easy pleasant walk along tree lined avenues takes you to a Natiobal Tashkent museum, which is worth the ticket. Also in the vicinity is a central park serving hotdogs, coffee, shopping centre selling watches, jewellery, ornaments and a bunch of other items. Walk another 19 minutes you will find a university and Timur's memorial statue.
