Not every person at the reception was fluent in English: for me this was not a problem but I guess with somone not able to speak a bit of spanish this might be an inconvenience.

The room was very clean, but it felt a little damp due to proximity to the waterfront.

The staff were very helpful arranging for very early morning taxis to the airport and ferry. Breakfast is very, very good, as is the free afternoon tea. We enjoyed being able to buy a beer and glass of wine at the bar. The location is excellent, near bus stops and restaurants. We stayed here in 2012, and the hotel seems updated from that time.

There was some areas where water damage was visible and although it did not directly impact my stay, it was not aesthetically pleasing.

The hotel offered great value for the money. It is centrally located with access to all modes of transportation, including free bikes for guests to use. Also a plus was the free morning breakfast and afternoon tea/snack. But the best thing the hotel has going for it is its staff. Everyone was helpful, friendly, and nice to a fault.

The extractor in our bathroom was extremely noisy and the bathroom looked grubby. The beds and pillows were too hard for me.

It would be nice to have some information about nearby restaurants - I could only find a pizza place and a sushi restaurant near, and the hotel offers little in the snack bar.

The reception staff are extremely nice and helpful. I appreciated the breakfast and the afternoon coffee hour, and also the lady who works in the snack bar in the evening. I liked being close to the Rambla.

Location! Close to the beach and a fantastic neighbourhood with excellent restaurants. Bus comes right outside the hotel door to go to Montevideo - a 20 minute ride. Great hot breakfast included.

I stay three nights. Once the room was not properly cleaned by the maid (it looks he/she was in a rush and didn't pay attention to details such as: cups used with liquid were not removed/replaced. Bathtop had a leak, when we took showers the water leaked outside.

The 'fitness center' is very limited, I actually looked forward using the treadmill as it was quite could outside for a run, but it was not in a great condition, I was not able to use it. That was the only downside on my stay.

My stay was great! Breaksfast was fair, even though lacking fruits, location was perfect, near multiple restaurants and a shopping center and the room was very cozy! I would highlight the wifi connection, which was just perfect - I could work with no problems.

The staff at the facility were super friendly and welcoming. The bed was super comfortable. The outdoor balcony in my room was phenomenal (10th floor) had 2 sun chairs. I spent a lot of time out there. The breakfast was pretty good too.
