Nothing - everything was immaculate, gorgeous, warm and tastefully thought through.

This hotel is just gorgeous. Fashioned to be a modern version of the Belle Epoque style, every area is extremely tastefully done, pleasant and warm. Our room was more like a suite with floor to ceiling windows and tasteful nooks and crannies richly decorated with an ultra comfy bed and beautiful city views on all sides. The reception area is equally gorgeous and the breakfast room/restaurant also lovely, a great space to spend time. Particular props to the roof top where we spent an afternoon working. 180 degree views of the city, wonderful attentive service, very special. The gym was interesting, natural equipment ultra clean and also thoughtfully designed. The staff were equally exceptional at every turn. Helpful, nice, English speaking. They had 2 bikes in great shape that we used to get around the city. Centrally located enough as the city is somewhat small, very close to the boardwalk and short uber to old city. A fantastic place to stay that was also a great value for our dollars, although we came in April which is off season here. Highest level recommendation. Only place we would stay if we came back to Montevido. Lastly - great coffee.

The road is a bit noisy in some rooms

Amazing hotel. The breakfast room / cafe is lovely, as is the rooftop bar. Breakfast is delicious. I really enjoyed the choice of loose leaf teas and the fresh cheese scones. The beds are especially comfortable

it would have been perfect if the hotel would be located on the coast line. it is not far but it is a bit “hidden”.

Elegant and comfortable rooms that are well equipped and perfect for a good night sleep. Nice terrace pn the roof top for views and relaxing after work or on holidays. There is also a bar/restaurant on roof top that offers easy small food and drinks. Breakfast is also delicious and there is a good variety to choose from. Staff is very helpful and everything works well.

In general, the staff is polite, but the reception team lacks a bit of sympathy. The rooms are spacious, but they are not soundproofing, and the streets may be noisy because of the motorcycles (delivery services late night, especially on Saturday). The bed is comfortable, but I prefer a harder mattress. The gym has exceptionally beautiful and interesting equipment, but they are not easy working with. I expected a different kind of hotel, considering its chain, but it was not.

Nice location at an easy parking street. Beautifully decorated spacious and clean rooms. High quality linen and towels. Quite good breakfast with optional hot dishes.

The rooftop pool is very small, I didn’t even use it in my 2 days as there were only 6 chairs. It’s more of a suggestion than a facility.

Beautiful decor and nice room, loved the rooftop and location! I felt secure here, and really enjoyed the kind staff. The gym was empty and fantastic for light weights.

There was nothing to dislike.

We are a family of four and stayed in two adjoining rooms for 5 nights. All of us absolutely loved the hotel, to be honest it is probably our favourite hotel ever! The location is great in a safe, trendy area, full of restaurants and close to the beach. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, with a jaw dropping lobby. It is convenient, not too big, with a very good restaurant on the ground floor and a tapas bar/bar on the rooftop, where there is also a very nice pool, overlooking the neighbourhood and sea. The gym is on the 1st floor, with the most beautiful wooden equipment I have ever seen. The parking is on level minus one and very handy. The rooms themselves are beautiful, with details like an ornate and quirky water jar, a small but well designed desk, a balcony, a coffee machine and a well equipped mini bar and a nice balcony. Oh, and the mattresses and linen were heavenly. On top of this super nice staff and you have a recipe for what certainly is one of the leading hotels of the world, for a song!

The service at the rooftop bar/restaurant seemed a bit overwhelmed at times. There was a limited menu for such an elite hotel, and if there was one complaint....that would be it. Otherwise the stay was flawless with an amazing front desk staff!

Very nice decor and bedding. The exterior balconies were lovely!
