Big hostel with activity areas as well as some quite spots. It’s very convenient that the beds have curtains. Kenny is the best receptionist!

Amazing location, safe and quiet with lots of choices in restaurants and transport. Staff were all attentive, extremely friendly and helpful Great shower. It was possible to leave bags after check-out I will definitely recommend Grade 10

People and staff members smoke on the balcony of the kitchen and social area with the doors open. The whole area smells like cigarette smoke, which is unpleasant for non-smokers. Stained bed sheets and flat pillows. The shower has a glass wall that looks into the bedroom and living area. We were in a twin room (although the sheets made it one bed) and expected a private shower, as those choosing separate beds, don't want to see the other person in the shower. The shower door didn't open easily and scraped across the floor.

Great location, beautiful building, spacious room, hot water, air conditioning, large kitchen and social area, rooftop to watch the sunset, good wifi.

Great location in the middle of the old town. The hostel is inside of one of the most beautiful buildings with old school with old school elevator. It is spread out to several floors and the rooms are kept clean and organised. The stuff is very helpful.

Sometimes I had to wait a long time until someone answer the door. Wich is complicated because it was raining. I even saw other persons waiting too. Despite that, they are really cool and nice people.

Bathroom bins were too small for the frequency of cleaning. Lots of knives in the kitchen but only 1 fork and a few spoons. Door to my dorm didn’t close properly and when there was a storm it was banging all night. Smoking area in common room was a Juliet balcony so some of smoke came back into the room.

Great location in the old town. Lots of different areas on different floors to chill out or work. Nice kitchen. Free to use Pool table. Beds all had curtains, power and a light. Really big under bed lockers. Comfy beds.

You have to buzz to enter the hostel and sometime it would be a long wait. Though the staff was friendly, he didn't know too much about the area (wasn't a local) and each time I went to the front desk, I had to wait to be helped.

The room was spacious and the private washroom was clean and big. The room had big full length windows. The beds had privacy curtains as well as an outlet and light. I didn't have the breakfast, but didn't look like anything special to me.

The staff were, I think, all voluntary, and it seemed to me that they were more interested in having a good time amongst themselves than being of service to guests. There was a definite lack of interest in providing information (not their job!) about the city, etc. I couldn’t even get a city map and I wasn’t the only one asking for one. Staff training needed.

The hostel was light and airy and in an excellent location and the dorm room was excellent with a large integral bathroom.

Hostel Viajero is the best option for digital nomads in Montevideo, the relationship between price and comfort is incomparable with other places in Montevideo, the treatment of Facu, Michelle, Hernan and JuanMa at the reception is simply unique, the cleaning staff It keeps the Hostel in an extraordinary state, the breakfasts are very good and the facilities of the place are incredible, the wooden elevator and the terrace, everything is simply spectacular
