The staff were great. The room needed a deep clean and a shower curtain that is long enough to stay inside to tub. I probably would not stay here again due to the uncleanliness. The chair in the room was soiled in stains. The floor could have used a shampooing and the bathroom needed some attention as well.

We booked a room with a jacuzzi but it served only as a tub. The jets didn’t work. Luckily there was no cost difference between rooms with and without the jacuzzi.

King sized bed was very comfortable and room was large. Had all amenities for comfort.

Both rooms smelled of smoke, the air conditioner didn’t work, sheets were dirty, and the breakfast was disappointing. The waffle maker didn’t work well. And the cereal container broke twice

Property appeared to be poorly maintained. Bathroom was adequate but appeared dirty as whomever did the tile work was not a professional, very poor workmanship which included using dark brown grout on light colored tile which just looked nasty. We assumed the large dark globs in tub corners and bathroom corners were grout?

Location was good, roughly 60 miles east of Saint Louis, MO. We were traveling west so we liked that it was outside the large city area. Parking was good and next door to Dollar General which allowed us to get a few items we needed.

The bathroom was not cleaned as well as it should have been (not clean toilet, dirt behind the door). Rusting metal, loose fixtures. Breakfast was pretty limited with no protein and only one fruit. Yogurt would be nice, as well as bagels or toast and some eggs.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The price was good.

I wouldn't say breakfast if there isn't really any breakfast. There was a roach in the bedroom. Refrigerator would not adjust and froze everything. Bathroom shower head needs put in something to open it up because only about half of the jets worked properly.

The Carpet did not seem clean. The Phone did not work in the room. The Clock Radio was not working. TV remote had issues. The breakfast was very limited, but is was provided.

I had a room to use for a few nights and the AC worked well. The Ice Maker was a plus as was the refrigerator.

Could use better coffee. Not a breakfast person, but they do offer breakfast items.

Staff is always friendly and welcoming. This is one of the cleanest hotel rooms I've ever slept in. I'm putting that against 4-5 star hotels. Don't let the exterior fool you. It does need some upgrades, which I think is currently happening. I stayed for the price but continue going back for the hospitality and cleanliness, and the beds are super comfortable. This is my go-to when working in the area. Also nice & quiet .

The smell, the mildew, the staff, the fact that no trucker across the street chose it over sleeping in their cab.

Nothing, but it was the only option for 10 miles. Should've passed it and moved on. The only redeeming value is the story of how bad and run down it was. It somehow became an embarrassment to the motel 8 chain, and that is quite a monumentious feat.

Room was pleasant but could use simple repairs on table (very wobbly) upper door lock needed to be fastened and electronic door lock for room, and motel exterior doors need to be more easily accessible.

Very pleasant location, no traffic noise, next door to Dollar General making it very easy for additional supplies.
