This was the second time we have stayed at this location. The first time we brought our pet. Everything was exceptional. It is great that the hotel allows pets because ours is our family.

We usually ask for a room on the top floor. As we normally go to sleep at 9pm. This time we didn’t and paid the price. We had some party goers above us. They jumped around from 9pm to 6am. The manager did move us to different room, for our 2nd night.

Staff was friendly, manager was helpful with our scenario.

The breakfast was a bit disappointing. Needs a few more options for hot food. Like bacon and potatoes. It would have been nice to have a tub in the room but the shower was fine.

I prepaid for the breakfast. Kids running up and down the hallways late at night. Staff didn't do a thing to stop it after many compliments.

The only issue was in the morning, there was no hot water to shower. I believe it was due to the hotel being fully booked, so many people were using hot water at once. I know this is not usually the case, but it's the only thing I did not like.

I think Stoney Creek is an underrated hotel. The staff is good, the beds are comfy, and the whole environment seems great.

We did have issues with an outlet not working in the room and the hot water to the shower was cold after 9 AM both mornings. The breakfast was just ok. I wished the work out area was a little bigger. There also were no towels in the pool room when we went down at night.

The location was great. Easy to get to and right next to the expo center. The decor was really cute and gave the hotel a cabin feel. The hotel was quiet even with kids staying there for a sporting event.

It was a super busy weekend, that's not the fault of the hotel, and they handled it beautifully. Clean, quiet, and friendly as ever. The only thing I wasn't thrilled about were the toiletries. I would generally bring my own anyway, but my trip was last min.

I stay here when I travel to wausau. Love it each time.

I've stayed at Stoney Creek several times in the past and was excited to book here for my (adult) birthday party. Just me and 4 of my friends in our mid-thirties, looking to have a chill time in the hot tub! We weren't even planning to spend the night, just have some snacks and hang out for a few hours. Upon arriving at the front desk there was a large all-caps sign stating that absolutely no one unregistered to the room would be allowed in any of the hotel common spaces, and that I'd be charged $150 if I brought any guests. That would've been more than I paid for the room, so I went to another hotel that had no problem with it. I find it very uncommon practice to not allow any visitors to a hotel - what if I was staying from out of town? The hotel in general needs updates as well, and is no longer priced competitively for the amenities they offer.

The breakfast was a little disappointing, in that the scrambled eggs were cold, rubbery and tasteless. We opted for making waffles the second day, as well as other choices available.

The manager was very accommodating for our needs. The room was immaculate and spacious. The pool area was great for my Grandkids!
