They cleaned the room before we left and either took or threw away my medicated shampoo & conditioner, but other than that, no complaints.

No working heat—had to use small electric heater. The plug in the bathroom did not work, so no mirror to get ready. Had to ask for blankets. No coffee mugs in kitchenette—only teacups that could not be microwaved due to metal. No full length mirror in room.

Seemed clean—no bugs or dirt. Very nice and welcoming manager. Great location to dining and the train we rode. Interesting, fun, and fitting decor. Food and drinks—good selection and readily available.

There is no lobby. The owner lives next door and you must call the number number on the front door. He will arrive within 5 min to get you settled in.

Each room is decorated with antique furniture. Very quaint but not for everyone. If you’re looking for all the amenities of a Marriott, this is not the place for you.

Breakfast was disappointing - coffee was ok, but there was no yogurt (in spite of the sign on the refrigerator) and too many starchy and sugary cereals, etc. Had some wi-fi issues but owner was working on those.

Location was great - easy walk to restaurants and 10 minutes or so to the train depot. AC worked ok, and access in and out was easy. Ice maker in the common room was a plus. Outdoor deck was a nice spot to hang out.

The lobby was closed. I had to wander around aimlessly trying to find a place to check in. The "owner" must have spotted me because he came out to greet me from somewhere lol. It would have been nice to have a clear warning that there is no lobby at this place.

Furniture could be described as “early attic”. A comfortable chair would have been a great improvement.

The staff was great and accommodating. Just across the street from the only 2 restaurants in town.

The room can only be accessed by climbing steep outside staircase, which could be tricky for seniors carrying luggage. We were forced to run the air conditioner full time as the room was very warm, so bring ear plugs. Staffing was minimal; we asked for room clean up, but it wasn’t done. We settled for fresh towels to use in the morning, which were bought to us quickly once we were able to reach staff.

Very large room for three people in a old hotel. Decor was suitable for the period, beds were comfortable and bathroom was large and clean.

Property was very well kept. Very southwestern authentic. Great location. Rooms were amazing. Loved the western looked, reminded me a lot of a Mexican look if you ever been to Mexico and stayed in a very well kept Mexican home.

No comfortable place to sit and watch tv. No tv in bedroom. No one was there to ck us in and building was locked, no one answered when you called . There were 3 different parties waiting for the owner to show up. Supposed to have continental breakfast but the man who was to make coffee, bring fruit never showed up. Didn’t feel safe as there was a cbd store across the street and a man was roaming the street acting crazy. Would not recommend to anyone to stay here. We stayed one night and took our loss and moved on.

It was close to where we were going the next morning.

This is the time of year this place shines. Everyone is catching the train. In the morning there was coffee but no cups. When the coffee ran out, a standard 8 cup setup, there was no water to refill it. I took the pot back to my room but it wouldn’t fit under the sink. The bed needed an extra blanket. The pillows smelled less than fresh. But they are almost the only game in town.

I guess I would say just the feel of the old room yet nice and clean.

The rooms were remodeled old rooms. I actually loved the way they did the room. It had AC, a refrigerator a shower (no tub) nut no microwave. However, they had a room with cold cereal, bananas and a couple of other things. Also, refrigerator with milk, juice and ice in the freezer and a microwave available all day and night. The room had a couch, tiny table and 2 chairs plus a pool table. They carryed my luggage to my room since I was not physically able. There was no elevator. I would stay there again if in the area. The staff was great.

When I first arrived at the property, I thought I was at the wrong place because there were signs of "Do not enter" and "For Rent" on the doors and windows. When I walked around, I saw the sign that mentioned calling the number and the hosts were there within seconds to show me to the room. Unconventional, but once I knew I wasn't at the wrong place, all was good. And the shower is a little tight.

While it's an unconventional motel, unlike most "chain" hotels and motels, the staff was very friendly and down to earth homely! It was like you were staying with friends than at a motel.
