The pool, the gym, and how clean it was

The front desk and cleaning crew had great customers service but the kitchen staff Ligt skin heavy set lady Has a bad attitude and a horrible demeanor about herself She was very rude while we were eating Its a way to talk to guess The kids forgot to the close the hot pots down She came out very nasty close the pots down Other people want hot food I apologize for the mistake She then preceded to get on her phone and talk about in the back were I could hear her I knock on the door to let her know I understand and apologize but don't keep talking about us after the fact She stated this is my phone and mouth I can do what I please I said no problem I will let the owner know about your behavior I was very upset about the situation Front desk was very apologetics and had a conversation with her She was still nasty Other then that The hotel was nice and clean

Coffee pot didn't work, carpet was filthy, no hot water, ice machine ran out due to people with coolers.

Booking.com and hotel got crossed up somehow and canceled room. Took a couple of hours on phone to hopefully resolve issue. I mistakenly stated this in review of Tallahassee Holiday Inn. My apologies to them.

The price was a little steep considering the quality of hotel and the location in middle of no where. when I say that I’m referring to the fact that it wasn’t close to any entertainment or venue that may drive up the price

floor was sticky in our room. asked housekeeping to help us out. she said “oh they must have used something other than water to clean it and the cleaner is sticky”. yikes

When I got there the lady told me to sign the documents but didn’t not mention anything about none smoking in the room and I was charged a 255 fee just because she didn’t mention I feel as if that was not right . She did not read what was aloud and not aloud ,only she mention was about the bar and pool times. I was in room 326 and think I deserve a refund .On the front of the door it said I could smoke so why was I charged this fee .

Had a little trouble with the staff getting my card info correct and it took someone a long time to come to the front desk for check in and didn’t like that you had to pay for breakfast

There seemed to be a lot of lady bugs in the room. As soon as lights came on they came out so the filter system and or window seals need to be checked.

The bar/restaurant employees (not all) were dismissive and slow to help even when they were otherwise unoccupied. The sink constantly dripped in my room

The cleaning staff "house keeping" were quick, efficient. Kind and extremely helpful! Check in staff were very polite and kind and alsi quick!

Service

The staff was unfriendly from check in to check out. The waitress in the restaurant was very unpleasant and it took about 40 minutes to be waited on. Food took just as long and one meal was incorrect. The waitress argued over what we ordered. The pool was freezing cold (indoor heated pool - this was why we chose this location) and our room had no towels. I called the front desk to get towels and she said I would have to come get them in the lobby (I had 2 kids in the shower) when I got down there 2 staff members were just sitting there one playing on the phone. Breakfast food was not good either.
