We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United StatesOverall cleanliness could have been better. Elevators were beat up pretty bad. I checked, and there was no one at the front desk. I had to call the front desk and after several rings somebody finally came forward.
I did not know that this location offered breakfast. No one told me.

United StatesThe bed and the pillows were not particularly comfortable, so hopefully they will improve with the upgrades going on. There was a fair amount of noise from what I guess was the work going on in the parking lot, but again, probably just temporary till the reno is complete.
Breakfast was fantastic! The server was extremely friendly, efficient, attentive. He listened to everything I said, from my forewarning that I would want refill hot water for my tea faster than one might expect and assuring that the bacon in my omelet was perfectly crispy, as was my wish (he said that they also like to do it that way in the kitchen, for better cutting into bits). The meal was steaming hot, which is not always the case even in less casual restaurants. Top marks. And the room was very clean, though somewhat worn and dated.

United StatesI paid in advance for my room but the still charged me $50 on my card but Didn’t tell me this when I checked in. When I asked later the said it would be backed out when I checked out. We asked if they had an EV charger in the parking lot and they do not.
Location was very convenient for our activities while we were in town. Lots of Food options. My husband didn’t like the waffles at the restaurant attached to the hotel. They tasted like there was too much baking soda or it wasn’t mixed well enough. Just as well our room didn’t include breakfast so we could go elsewhere. Wendy’s was understaffed so we didn’t wait. Other options within walking distance were good.

NetherlandsPool closure! It was our last day in the US and I promised our kids that we would end the trip with a pool side hotel. Obviously and according to the front desk, the pool was under construction for over a year. However, they didn’t consider that most customers book with Booking.com and Holiday Inn didn’t update the pool status on booking.com. We paid the full price without pool access.

United StatesThe television show options were very violent, vulgar and used lots of curse words. Second thing I didn't like was an extra charge of $50. Before booking online, I called the hotel directly 8 days earlier to reserve a room and to avoid incendental fee of $50. No one answered the phone all night. When I told the clerk on the day of my arrival, May 20th at noon, she confirmed that I called the front desk number but she said she didn't believe no one answered. I was charged $50. whereas otherwise I would have not been charged the fee if I booked with the hotel like I tried to do.
The room smelled fresh and clean. The linen was clean and had no cologne odors like last time. Pillows were soft. The room was vintage but fresh. Also the room was walking distance to the Dulles Expo Center and Walmart. The coffee with breakfast was the best in the area but the kettle kept getting empty.

LuxembourgThe shuttle service was not always dependable - reservation for following morning was registered for wrong time, but hotel staff reacted quickly and got us a ride within 5 minutes after finding out error. On first night we were located in a very noisy room (almost constant water conduits and ventilation noises). After we made comment at front desk, we got immediately alternate room, which was very quiet. Our first stay was in 2017, and since then the hotel infrastructure has suffered somewhat. A little renovation would help. But our room was ok, clean and comfortable.
This was our 3rd stay at this hotel. Important - the hotel is close to Dulles airport (also close to Udvar-Hazy Air & Space Museum). Shuttle service is free, even if you request it on a daily basis to get to and from airport for Metrobus to downtown DC. Staff very friendly, Another very positive side: there is a restaurant/pub which is part of the hotel complex ("Bob O's"). Breakfast is served on REAL plates and flatware - no plastic ... Good burgers, friendly service. Comfortable bed, room and bathroom clean. Big public parking in front of hotel, fuel station nearby, Walmart within walking distance.
