Some places in common areas need attention

my wife is 5' 2" so had problems getting on and off the bed. Not very convenient for her. Maybe rethink the height of the beds?

Breakfast was okay. Few choices, but understandable due to few people staying.

We stay her approx 4x/year for a scrapbooking event. The carpets on the stairs are ALWAYS dirty and never vacuumed. The bathroom tubs need to be updated soon also.

Toaster oven is less then desirable. Had to put English muffin through 3 or 4 times just to get it barely done.

There were 2 holes in our walls needing to be repaired. Heater was very loud when running.

The shower in our room was one of the things not updated. It was really grungy and unappealing.

The shower head needs replacing as the spray came out like piercing needles and turning it down only turned the water cold. The room had two queen beds which means 4 can sleep comfortably but the room lacked other furniture. There was only one chair and no suitcase butlers. We used the ironing board to keep our luggage off the floor.

The new carpet, paint, and curtains really made the room fresh. The new mattress was comfortable. The heater/ac unit worked great making the room comfortable and ran fairly quiet. The refrigerator was a decent size. The pool was up and running this time.

On the website it said it had a Mexican restaurant in it , It Did Not, went to the bar in there said it was a bar and Grill, No Grill . The only food they had to eat was a frozen Pizza. It was something to eat but not what we Expected. We did not want to drive around finding a restaurant, So we were really disappointed about the false representation.

The first room we were put in smelled like someone took a crap in it. There was soap scum on the shower walls with hair. The jacuzzi in the room was dirty and still had sitting water in it. The toilet paper holder was even broken. They claim that their rooms are over 3000 square feet on here but they are nowhere near that large so I’m not sure why they claim so. The blankets on the bed are really thin and they give a couple small pillows. The couch in the room had stains on it. The tv in the new room was probably 40 inches and it was on the far side of the room so you couldn’t really see it well. The light about the jacuzzi was flickering and loud. The entire hotel stinks. When going through the lobby past the pool area we were struggling to breathe and had to hold our breath hallways also smell.

It’s in a convenient location. We were moved to another room quickly.

Our bathroom wasn’t very clean. The top edge of the shower had a thick coat of dust. There was a dog barking in the middle of the night across the hall in another room

The breakfast was excellent and the food was replenished often. The dining room staff was very friendly. Kept very clean!

The pool area needs a makeover. Paint peeling from the ceiling in chunks. Hot tub was warm at best and over treated with chemicals. Water slides are not in operation any longer. Our room really needed a good “after construction” cleaning. Including the faucets, sinks, switch plates, baseboards, etc. dirt and grime everywhere. Shower dispensers were empty upon arrival. No heat was turned on for preparation of guest check-in. It was probably about 52°F at check-in after a long day of outside activities. Adjoining room reeked of marijuana and cigarettes. Breakfast was canned corned beef hash. Peanut butter was separated and wouldn’t spread.

The beds are very comfortable. The remodel looks like it is still in progress. Many simple things are not complete yet that would really keep the property looking top notch and lower paint and maintenance costs over time.

I loved everything there!

I thought it was an awesome time went for my birthday the bar was great, it was very clean, and the night shift lady even asked me if I had a good birthday ! I thought that was Awesome 👍 had a great time thank you!

I didn't like the fact that the water slides are permanently closed. I attempted to call and ask if the water slides would be running but was unable to get in contact with front desk. Also the room remodel was enjoyable. The only downside is the fact after leaving the pool and going back to the room the floor gets wet as there is no where to wipe your feet which becomes a huge slip and fall risk

I enjoyed seeing the remodel of the facility. I also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. The rooms are completely remodeled as well as the main entrance.
