How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The breakfast was ok but not much choice if you want to have a healthy breakfast.
Good size rooms, comfortable beds. Two complementary drinks per evening with limited snacks.

Everything was good but the fact that have pay over 100 to use the jacuzzi is crazy never been to any hotel where u had to pay for that

My only complaint is that you have to pay to park. It is a hotel/convention center but people use the hotel parking when they just come to the convention center. This takes up spaces from hotel guests and we are the ones paying.
I have stayed multiple times here and am never disappointed. Fantastic hotel, staff and rooms.

Was a loud music event nearby and the bass shook the hotel until late. There was also a dance competition at the hotel. Lots of little girls screaming and dancing everywhere.
Had usual Embassy Suites amenities.

I did not like having to pay for parking when the hotel owns acreage of parking, that mostly goes unused.
This is an all around great property for business or leisure.

I have noticed some quality issues since beginning to travel again after COVID. I realize that staffing is short and finding competent, qualified people to do important work such as upkeeping a hotel is difficult. I would say it is more than a structural quality problem. Walking into the hotel, I can feel the shift in atmosphere and happiness of the staff from even a year ago! Employees don't seem happy to be there right now and it makes me wonder what is going on in the background. Another thing that has changed is that parking at the hotel now costs $8/night. This is something that used to be included in the stay. This will make me re-think staying in the future, but I will continue to visit the spa. We also did not have a great experience with the food at breakfast or restaurant in-house. Everything was very bland and, unless you got a fresh-made omelette - cold. Maybe it was just a bad, short staffed kind of weekend, but my last couple of stays, it seems like they are just going through the motions there.
The stay was a great location. I always enjoy the spa. The room was clean and fresh smelling and very bright! The kids had a GREAT time swimming in the afternoons at the indoor pool. The staff is clearly stressed, but doing the best they can an helping one guest at a time. I appreciate everything they do! From bringing extra towels and hand clothes for my crew to showing me where the extra blanket was (already in my room!...LOL). I have visited this location several times and will continue to come back!

I wish the pool was clean that was one of the reasons why we booked this hotel.
I liked the breakfast but I wish kid’s weren’t serving themselves because they were kind of unsanitary.

The pool was closed down during our stay and that was one of our main reasons for booking the hotel

I ask for cups, that I didn’t receive because an employee said, “I’m about to get off, they will bring them!”

The fold out bed was horrible. Very uncomfortable. Stains on the mattress, and sheets. I asked for a blanket from the front desk and never received it.

Was unhappy the outside amendments were not able to be used. The fireplace wasn't lit the fire pit wasn't lit all the cushions or disarray and missing off the seating area

I didn’t like the fact that we had to pay for parking there is a parking lot out there designated for the embassy suites, so why should I have to pay for parking when I’m already paying for hotel room?
