The staff was so nice upon check in and really responsive throughout our stay. We were in a great room with a balcony, which was a nice surprise! My husband commented that it was the best sleep we’d ever had in a hotel.

The hotel pool and hot tub did not look very clean (water dingy) so didn’t use. The overall cleanliness of the room wasn’t great, especially noticeable in the bathroom. The grout on the tile floor was brown in several space and made more noticeable by it being white in the corners. This combined with small stains in the ceiling and on wallpaper made me question overall cleanliness.

Full breakfast buffet included with room was good. Lots of choices and plenty of food.

The TV was not working, and it the front disk didn't respond. Also, I got a text as soon as I got to the room asking if everything was OK , which was a great touch, but when I responded with the TV problem, I got no answer at all. Finally, after a couple of hours, I called again, and the problem was solved.

Breakfast was good. Some facilities were not open....restaurant for dinner and lobby bar.

There were not enough servers onsite at the only restaurant and bar. Took over an hour to get dinner. And the only worker was worked to the bone trying to get all the customers what they needed. Give him a raise and hire 3 more people to support him.

By no fault of the hotel or staff it was loud, or people were loud in the hallway. There was obviously a family with young kids either on the same floor or above, but they were running up and down the halls from 8 till I went to bed at 10:30, sounded like a train rolling by the room every 10 minutes. But they're kids and I get it, I was never mad or ready to confront them, it was just loud. overall we really enjoyed the place

Location was great, after traveling for hours it was nice to get off the hustle and bustle as its tucked far away from roads. Front desk was great, friendly and courteous, arrived a little earlier than 3:00 check in but they let us check in which was really nice after traveling.

Two weddings were going on both days that we stayed & there were alcohol cans scattered throughout the hotel as well as vomit in the hallway. You can hear a lot through the walls.

It’s too bad that the breakfast is expensive. Also, there were stains all over the rugs and gummy bears on the floor when we entered the room. I wish extra toilet paper and tissues were already in the room. The room was a little bit too cold no matter how we adjusted the thermostat. There was a plunger right outside of our door when we arrived, which isn’t necessarily something you want to see when checking in.

Love how close the hotel is to Boston but it’s cleaner cheaper, and nicer than hotels we stayed at in the city. We’ve stayed at this particular hotel three of four times now when we come to Massachusetts because it’s always a good play to stay. It’s usually pretty clean and pleasant and the location is great. We like the outdoor area surrounding the hotel, with grass, trees, etc. the rooms are always pretty nice with comfortable beds and a good amount of space. Everybody who works there is nice and helpful.

Not only was our room freezing, but so was the rest of place. It seems almost criminal in this summer of extreme climate events to keep the AC cranked up so high. I overheard other guests in the hallways complaining about the cold. We just turned the system off in our room, but then were left with a choice between a heavy cover or nothing to sleep under. We were sorry that our only choice for eating was a bar with loud music and giant TV screens showing sports that no one seemed interested in. I assume the quieter dining room was not open because of lack of staff, unfortunately.

It was very easy off and on from the highway, which we appreciated, since we were just passing through. We were also glad we could eat there, rather than having to get back in the car to eat. The extremely over-taxed employees were really great. We particularly would like to commend Alex, who served us in the Characters Bar & Grill. He was clearly doing 4 jobs at once, but kindly asked us how we were whenever possible, and even made time to respond to my request to lower the sound system. He was efficient, kind, and competent. I imagine the other employees in that section deserved praise as well, but we didn't interact with them. I'd also like to put in a good word for Patricia at the front desk. We met her when checking out. I told her I was having difficulties using the QR code to write a review for Alex. She couldn't resolve the problem, but encouraged us to wait for this survey to give our review and assured us she'd look into the problem using the QR code. She was friendly, warm, and professional.

The only complaint, and really it is the only one, would be that the Air Conditioning was a tiny bit too noisy. But other than that, everything was perfect!

We had breakfast at the hotel on one morning and it was excellent! Free coffee in the lobby at all times was appreciated. The hotel location is perfect. No noise inside even if the hotel is right next to Hwy-93. The double-king-bed room is a perfect size for 2 adults. Everything, from furniture to rugs, beds and bathrooms were impeccably cleaned. Having some luggage to carry inside, the multiple entrances at different ends of the hotel were very convenient. Parking is quite large.

The bathroom lighting was very dim and the vending machines only had beverages. The cable tv didn't have any info so couldn't tell what we were watching.

We arrived around 1:30 and we were able to check in early. This gave us the opportunity to enjoy the pool and hot tub by ourselves for over an hour which was great. The pool was well maintained and clean.The staff was very friendly and even found us a microwave for the room. I thought being so close to the highway would have been a problem but if you close your eyes it sounds like the ocean. The bed was very comfortable.
