The place is old. The furnace is very loud. Turns on at night and every time I wake up. It's very hot while it blows, then gets rather cold. Very dry air in the room.

The best thing in this hotel is the Distrikt restaurant. It's always empty, quiet, and the food is amazing. Hotel is okay.

The automatic TV shut off was frustrating as it did not respond to remote input and shut off movies twice, requiring me to sign back in to Amazon.

The room was very comfortable as was the bed and bedding. I appreciate all of the "green" details to help conserve resources.

Staff was wonderful and responsive to every need, and extremely friendly. Lewis, Michael, Angela and Tamara (those are the names I remember, but everyone else was also wonderful). The StarBucks downstairs is a real bonus, and the staff there as well was warm and friendly. Even housekeeping all had smiles and seemed happy - not the same at every hotel.

Traffic noise off 287 was loud. Tv repeatedly lost signals when using it. Wifi would not connect and desk didn't know the correct password to get on it. Glad it wasn't a business trip where I need wifi or i would have left the hotel. Staff at night needs more training. Maid didn't clean the shower drain so hair from a previous guest was on it , really disgusting. Towels weren't replaced after she took the wet ones ,every day it was less and less towels. Seems staff is only there for a paycheck and doesn't care. Manager was apologetic but that doesn't fix problems, maybe she isn't ready for prime time yet. Sometimes a manager needs to be more assertive and also get out from behind the desk and inspect the work being done. Managing isn't a sit down and watch job.

It was easy to get to and rooms weren't cramped. Bathrooms good sized.

The bartender was rude and acted like I was bothering him to get me a menu or to serve me. I didn't want to sit at the bar which seemed to annoy him bc he wasn't able to just loop around and stay in one area. What if I had a drinking problem and didn't want to be tempted? How he acted was really less than desirable with me wanting to sit at a table. I almost left but I was hungry. I was also alone and didn't want to sit at the bar with guys who were alone or with a friend or two. Just wanted my space and do some work. I was a server and bartender for many years and if I were to have ever talked to a customer like he did me, or acted like he did I would have been fired. The girl he was training was very sweet though.

The hotel was clean and the staff in the front were very friendly and welcoming.

Room & restaurant food service was good but quality of food, as has also been our experience previously in the US, falls short of one's expectations..

Rooms were spacious & comfortable with a higjh standard of cleanliness throughout. Staff were efficient, helpful & friendly. Location was very good with ample car parking It would be our first choice for any future trips to NJ.

Earlier dining room hours in the afternoon, for Happy Hour. No menu posted or in the rooms. Seems like dining room/bar is only geared towards business guests.

Room service was listed as a service but when we called to order they said they were not doing room service. That was a little disappointing.

The breakfast was ok, dinner and drinks we had were really good. Very Clean and loved that there was shampoo/conditioner/soap in the shower and a hair dryer.
