I was on a floor that had a loud family talking to each other late in the hallways.

The hotel is renovating. So most of the facilities were closed. The renovated room was wonderful. The staff was friendly.

They were doing upgrades so there was a bit of noise in the morning but it’s only temporary.

I like the bed, it was very comfortable. I enjoyed my stay very much. Easy access to everything downtown.

I booked through booking.com and needed to change the days to my stay. Booking.com attempted to contact the hotel and make the changes but were unable. I was able to make the change by calling the hotel myself. Perhaps if booking.com did not outsource the call center to a third world country they could have been successful. I will never use booking.com again.

We also thought that breakfast was a little on the basic side compared to other Hotels, a few more choices of juice would be good, there was no yogurts, limited pastries, vegetarians would have struggled.

- Since I was traveling with kids I intentionally booked a room where breakfast was included. Only received 2 breakfast passes even though reservation was for 4. Was told I would have to pay 12.99 each for the kids (10 and 6) to eat at the buffet because they wont authorize more than 2 passes for the room. It was barely a buffet with only eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage, fruit, oatmeal, and toast. Upon checkin we were given a menu with other breakfast options we could order for room service but then, when I asked the next morning, we were told it wasn't an option due to the hotel being at capacity. I was then told that the breakfast that was included in my room price wouldn't cover room service anyway. - Indoor pool was not heated and the flooring around it was VERY slippery. Spotted a couple large cockroaches/water bugs down there. - There was only 1 ice machine for the whole hotel and it ran out of ice on the second night. - Furnishings in the room are very wobbly and falling apart. - The walls are pretty thin. Neighbors were blasting music at 130 am on one side and the ones on the other side were talking loud enough that we could hear them.

Comfortable beds and linens, convenient location, spacious room, front desk attendant at night (Cay) was very pleasant, plenty of hot water and good water pressure, TV had lots of options, WIFI was strong, provided ear plugs due to construction

I found quite astonished that in a hotel of that kind they don't make the daily cleaning service. If you want your room cleaned and with new towels you have to book it 24 hours before (!) For several days there were very noisy guests on the same floor up to very late night (up to after 2am), but no one of the staff made any kind of check about it.

Need more menu choices for food. My room was suppose to be a king suite with a sofa it didn't have a sofa it had a very uncomfortable chair. Also I only had on trash can in the bathroom that was annoying!! Sink was building up water like it was starting to be clogged.

The staff was wonderful very friendly and inviting i appreciated that. The location was only 16 minutes from the beach which isn't bad. It was clean the breakfast you have to pay for but the priceses were fair.

I did not like that I called prior to our arriving asking for a early check-in being that we had a 4-Hour drive to Virginia from Maryland. On the telephone they were telling me they couldn't guarantee it. I have been to so many hotels and I know they always have rooms clean. They just want you to check in when they I want you to check in at the designated time. They should really take into consideration that some people are older and after having a long ride, you are ready to get into your room freshen up and relax and take your medications. 4 pm is a late check-in and they surely want you out by 11am. Not 1 person was at breakfast. I imagine it's expensive. The hotel looks very nice from the outside and when you walk in it is gorgeous. However they need to do some work on the inside. The bathrooms are very small the toilet is almost inside the bathtub. And they need to renovate the doors need repair and walls are all damaged.

The waitress was rude and complained about her working hours. She told a couple that she wished the didn't sit down because she wasn't going to get a tip for them choosing the to go option.

I enjoyed the food. Whoever did the cooking was phenomenal!!! The check in process was smooth and the young woman who checked us in was Great!

I left my small diamond necklace that I received for my 40th anniversary on the bathroom sink. It was not found and I am deeply sad. Even offered a reward.
