How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

No complains at that price tag.
It was clean with a big room, enough space to place your luggage. The breakfast was good for US standards in this category. Hot coffee :) but maybe just not enough seats at busy times.

Bed was a little hard but bearable. The traffic noise was horrendous! The young lady that checked us in was not friendly.

The room was not ready on time and there were several people waiting for their rooms. The check in staff did not appear particularly concerned. Breakfast was awful, cheap cereal brands, cheap bread and coffee very poor. Unbelievable, places using plastic cutlery and paper plates give a cheap impression. Why bother offering breakfast when so little effort is put in?
The room was spacious and very comfortable.

I liked the property a lot. If. I was to be picky I noticed some spot in the facia boards outside were rotted and looked run down.
The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly!

Vanity area was small Shuttle service to downtown a bit questionable Hot tub was foamy ?
Wide Breakfast selection of the usual offerings at a hotel. Limited offerings at the happy hour. Most of the staff was friendly.

OVERALL EVERYTHING WAS GOOD!!! BUT THE WALLS ARE VERY THIN
WE HAVE STAYED AT CLUB HOTEL A COUPLE OF TIMES AND WE LOVE!!! FROM THE HOT BREAKFAST IN THE MORNING TO THE COCKTAIL HOUR IN THE EVENING!!! LOVE THE STAFF BUT SOME GIRLS AT THE FRONT DESK CAN BE A BIT MORE FRIENDLY. LOVE THE ROOM AND HOW SPACIOUS IT IS AND HOW COMFORTABLE THE BEDS ARE!! WE WILL RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!!

Had a funky smell but all in all nothing crazy just a scent I would sometimes smell sometimes not.
Property was comfortable, pool was great, and the happy hour free drinks were a wonderful surprise!

The hot breakfast always ran out.
The beds were really comfortable. The afternoon happy hour with free drinks was a welcome and unexpected bonus. The fruit at breakfast was nice to have available. The location was midway between the city and the airport which worked well for us. The staff were good especially those at the happy hour.

The breakfast was poor. Staff attitudes at check in was poor and also poor when reporting an issue with our room. Balcony door was broken. We were told by staff that they had someone come check it, we let them know they had not as we were in the room. We were told we were wrong and that it was fixed. Poor service.
The room was a great size with a comfortable bed. Parking was good. Plenty of storage which was great.

Rooms are not sound proofed or they have a weakness at the door or windows because some guy was not having a good day and I could name all the four letter expletives he was saying when the tv was off.
For the pricepoint - it was great. The room was clearly renovated and well done. They are big rooms with seating areas and a great desk area with a rolling desk so you can move it conveniently to other parts of the room. The staff was wonderful at the front desk ... so helpful and patient. I didn't make it out to the pool but the grounds looked well cared for and the breakfast in the morning was great as was the seating area. Overall it was a great experience.

The hotel backs up to the highway, and as luck would have it our room was on the very back of the complex that was adjacent to the highway so we got the full affect. The car noise woke us up when the air conditioner in the room shut off and the background noise went away. If the air would have stayed on continuously it would have drowned out the road noise. The bathroom was clean to look at, but smelled like sewage a little. May have plumbing issues??
We had two queen sized beds and they were comfortable and the room was clean. The air worked great. The room was plenty large enough for me my wife and 2 teenagers. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The free drink tickets were appreciated as well.
