How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

There wasn't any refrigerator or microwave. I had to spend money to purchase fast food.
There was plenty of space in the room.

That the rooms didn’t have a microwave & mini fridge in the room. That’s definitely a no no especially for people who are staying longer than 3 days.
The property was nice. very clean, customer service was great all in all a good stay.

Staff not kind, breakfast bad, Location spooky, room not clean, bathroom old and bad. Too old and not well taken care of.

Where it was located. Looked very old and not the cleanest. Limited towels. Poor lighting outside and felt unsafe.

The first room I was given was not clean. There were cigarette ashes in the a/c vent, the tub was dirty, and the a/c unit was very loud. It kept cutting on and off. When I went to request another room, the staff was so nonchalant. They spoke in Jamaican accents. They asked was the tub dirty or stained. I said no dirty. The tub was black inside. They offered me another room. Then the manager on duty said they could upgrade me to a room with a refrigerator and microwave. That room was a little better, but not much. The water barely came out at the sink. The toilet didn't flush properly. The paint was peeling in the bathroom and other places in the room. The worst part was my bed cover were white with red stains that looked like blood. I didn't asked for another room because they said they didn't have many vacancies, granted the parking lot was pretty empty. It was a quiet stay.
The hotel is close to the interstate, and various shopping centers. The hotel is in walking distance to restaurants and other entertainment.

I did not like that the room had no microwave and no refrigerator. The breakfast was great, the facility is clean and the lady at the front desk is really helpful.
I like that the location is phenomenal. Plenty of shopping and food in the area.

The pool wasn't open. There was a 100$ security deposit.
The room was clean and it was quiet you couldn't hear the highways that were right outside. The breakfast was ok.

Cleanliness, breakfast, service . I had to go to get my own toilet papers, towels, etc, even after asking for it.
The bed. There was no food in stocks for the free breakfast and we were there a week.

The employees at front desk were not very friendly and never really spoke at all besides handing a paper and said this is everything you need to know.
It is very close to Hwy and easy to find. The room was very clean which is a plus.

Floor in bathroom & in front of sink was sticky also had spots from a drink or some liquid so definitely wasn't mopped. Also I booked through booking.com & got charged more at hotel than was quoted on booking.
Very friendly staff. Good location.

Well definitely didn’t look like the pictures which was disappointing! And ice machine was far from room that I couldn’t find it and gave up!
It was only one night! It was ok! Had a great hot shower that was a plus! Bed was comfy!
