Sometimes it was noisy but that’s actually due to it’s central location.

    Nice comfort central located hotel.

The absence of a buffet means waiting for your meals can be long. The quality of airport shuttles needs attention. I would recommend organizing your own transportation to and fro.

Rooms was spacious and clean, air conditioning good. It's within reach of everything you need given the crazy traffic in Kampala. This is ideal if you have stuff to do within the city center and also quickly connect to the route going to the airport. It's a little gem in the midst of a sort of chaotic environment.

It is located in Downtown Kampala. So specially European Tourists have to know, that you have to be very careful, when you are walking around by day. And it's too dangerous outside the hotel by night. And the matress is not soft. And it's very loud.

It was a very, clean an safe space! Warm water and good Wifi.

Sorry not to use hot water in the shower

The driver picked me up in the Entebee International Airport by adding USD 30. The driver also helped me how to set sim card. The staff in the hotel are so friendly. I can see the city view from roof top.

No toothbrush & toothpaste provision for customers. Had to go out to buy. Came to hotel early morning asked for water but receptionist was quite curt and said none is available till morning. Morning came and afternoon but no water so had to go out to buy and still got challenged as to why water is being brought into the hotel. Hotel doesn’t seem to realise water is life and really needed, but more concerned about making money on “water” selling the smallest bottles @ 3k - no big bottle on sale, rather than the welfare of guests. Ideally each room should have a complimentary bottle of water provided after cleaning daily then you can charge for subsequent orders. Nearly died of thirst but hotel wasn’t interested. Please do better. Also got woken up by staff ringing the room phone incessantly until I roused, to ask for a 6k payment which came about coz they provided 2sodas when I asked for water… they couldn’t wait till I woke up n showed myself at reception, they had to wake me up despite knowing I just came back up to the hotel in the early hours from a night out! Had to drop the call and tell them where to shove it as I hadn’t checked out and will settle bills at time of checkout and dropped back to sleep

Because of its proximity to central Kampala, it can be tricky for drivers to get in and out - this a ‘double edged sword’ if you want to stay in central Kampala.

The price is modest given the sizable and very comfortable rooms. All the staff are friendly, helpful and go out of their way to look after you - from reception, to the restaurant staff, the laundry staff and cleaning. Highly recommended if you want to stay in the heart of Kampala.

Wi-fi is very bad, although the staff is friendly but very slow, the restaurant in the hotel does not have 70% of the food it serves on the menu,TV not work

The rooms are neat and clean, the staff is friendly, the ratio of money and service is more than worthwhile, the breakfast is excellent, the hotel is located in the very center of the city

Due to their central location in the heart of the downtown market area, it starts to get very noisy by 8 or 9 am. Windows help to muffle the sound a little, but it’s hard to sleep beyond that. I still think that it is OK, because you would need to get up early to enjoy the city. I liked that I was near the bus terminal and the taxi park.

It was clean and comfortable. Very friendly and considerate staff, and excellent breakfast.

The best place to stay in central Kampala

The location is right in the city center which may not be what you're looking for in Kampala as it means being overlooking the busiest market here and a lot of noise. It also makes it difficult to get transport in and out due to the congestion. The hotel facilities are minimal at the moment. The gym on the top floor hasn't been equipped yet, and while the food was good when I ordered it from the restaurant at dinner time it took a very long time to arrive. If they can improve the facilities on offer and work more on the restaurant it will be a lot better. This is a relatively new hotel location so I can understand that these things take time.

Very good staff. I extended my stay for a total of 12 days and I never had exactly the same breakfast twice. The manager knew my name without me telling him. Housekeeping did a good job of cleaning every day. Sufficient security.
