The area of Muyenga Tank Hill is very safe to walk, a lot of green, and lovely people. With swimming pools, quiz nights, and a bustling Muyenga Rd around, it falls nothing short of the perfect location for your stay in Kampala. The staff at Kampala Forest Resort is attentive, very helpful and makes you feel so welcomed.

The bar is playing quite loud music up to midnight. If you want to go to sleep early, bring ear plugs. The shower didn't have warm water on the days when I was there, but maybe that was a temporary issue.

Very nice location on top of a hill with big trees and a nice view on the lake. Nice place away from polluted air and the noise from the city centre. The room was not very spacious, but big enough for me. I liked the food offered in the restaurant.

We requested a room in a quiet area -- couldn't be accommodated due to construction -- so we ended up in a room right in the front. It was quiet until one party leaving the property after 1am was picked up by a driver blasting loud music from the car. Not the hotel's fault that they had an inconsiderate guest, but this is a potential risk for people in that front room. Wait time for food service in the restaurant was longer than average for dinner.

Room was very spacious and clean. Outdoor restaurant/bar area overlooked the water and provided a lovely spot to hang out with friends. Staff was friendly and helpful. Dinner food at the restaurant was delicious and attractively presented. Location was good. The coffee lovers in the group particularly liked that it was within walking distance to Endiro coffee, a high-end, fair-trade establishment.

Furnishing quite dull. The rugs in the room!!!!! Too old and need changing. Such a beautiful entrance door but there was a Missing glass square into door handle. Safety?😳

Agnes at reception is so lovely. She Made check in so easy. The views from the sitting area were absolutely breathtaking. Lovely vibes bright coloured cushions. Small children’s park a lovely addition Lots of inspiration and investment opportunities during our evening walks.

Rooms not clean, no extra bedsheets, no extra water in a family room, breakfast was only included for 3 out of 5 family members, had to wait very long for breakfast.... And too expensive for the service and room given.

Food expensive 5.Hot water shower ??? 6.Room 812. 7 No water pressure in toilet or wash off. 8.No chairs as promised for the balcony. 9.No table to eat in the room. 10.paid for double cappinincino 8k gave 10k...still not received the 2k change from the waiter. 11 Hotel wanted to charge me for breakfast for my guest. 12.Embrassed me then reception told the kitchen we booked for 2 people. 13.Spa closed.. 14 To many non paying visitors taking over the restaurant thought residents are nr 1 paying clients... 15..drinks and alcohol expensive

Sometimes the car park can be full, i suggest if you drive plan your journey early and book a parking spot.

A beautiful view of Lake Victoria view. Has a nice sun rise and along with some friendly monkeys that come often early mornings. Good English speaking staff, and you get a free welcoming massage for all booking on this platform. Really needed after a long trip. Kampala forest Resort allows all the residents to use the steam and sauna for free at all times.
