The resort was great in terms of facilities and staff. The location, on the Nile, was also very good.

The bathrooms at the hotel are very dated. Either need renewing or at the very least re-grouting as grout very dirty. Also lots of lovely wood but it is not being treated and restored which is a shame because a big part of the ambience. Spoke to a manager who told me it is done every six months. Either this isn't true or it is not being done properly.

Breakfast Selection quite good, Lovely location with a room overlooking the Nile. A staff member (a lady) heard us talking about a river trip and rang Peter who got in touch with us which was helpful (Margaret?. Pool was lovely, relaxing and bar staff very good.

At check-in it was noticed that I had booked twice although one of those bookings was cancelled on booking.com the receptionist said I hadnt cancelled and that I may be charged twice. I wasnt in the end but it was an avoidable error. The staff were very nice but didnt respond to my two requests to have someone clean a mess outside our cabin door. The food was good but the restaurant menu was limited and especially so for non meat or fish eaters.

The place is really beautiful. The location is amazing. The staff are nice although maybe a little distant at times. The breakfast was really good with enough vegetarian options for us. I didnt get a chance to try the spa but the rest of the facilities were lovely.

No hot water in the mornings Poor waiting services. One has to wait very long to get food ordered. Place is vast. More staff may alleviate this problem. Menu could be a bit more adventurous, especially breakfast.

Location beautiful and ambience serene and therapeutic. Apartment set up gives a home feel. Rooms very spacious .

I had a challenge getting warm/hot water from the shower.

I liked the scenery. I got a room right next to River Nile and it was very beautiful. The staff at the reception were very helpful.

Far from town with limited transportation choices. It’s best to drive there with a rental car. Bathroom upgrades are due.

The hotel is seriously dated and needs a proper revamp, especially the bathrooms and toilets, which were a letdown. Breakfast didn't have a lot of selection. Also, last night, my nephew asked to use the pool and was told No, and it was past swim time.. 3 white ladies then entered the pool and swam for the next hour and not one person went and said it's past swim time; My sister took it personal and recorded the whole thing and made a complaint and was told the manager wasn't available. That kinda put a damp on time there, but besides that, the staff were absolutely lovely.

To reach the hotel, you need to go some kilometers through unpaved road in a bad conditions. Fore entering the reception building, they ask you to go thru the security ark, and to take off the personal belongings, as it is in the airports. This was disturbing in this supposedly 5* hotel. The Kalashnikov AK-47 armed security, at the entrance, and walking in the pool, and between the rooms at the garden, are not nice at all. It gives the sensation of insecurity, that we, guests are in a danger... The menu of pool restaurant is very poor. The service is very slow. No accommodation for drivers at drivers rate. This is a really disturbing. The hotel proposed to accommodate our driver to discounted 124 $ a night price. The driver had to leave and sleep somewhere. The water in the pool was not clean...

The situation above the high bank of Nile river, with nice view to the river, and islands. Possibility to reach by walking the point for the river boat trip, or for the bungee jumping. Monkeys in the garden of the hotel. ( a bit aggressive, they try to attack from the back). Small pool is available

It's very nice and safe resort, it's really ok for Uganda standards, I have liked and enjoyed a lot, there is access to Nile river and also Bangee jumps right at the river also rooms have been very big
