Super sweet vibe at Home On The Nile, the staff is so welcoming and so is the owner. You will feel right at home, the location is beautiful and accompanied by beautiful music at the bar. The dorm was great, very comfortable and so was the main house. You will really miss out if you don't book at Home on the Nile!! I had the Spaghetti Bolognese for dinner and it was a delicacy!! Can only recommend ;) Even when I wanted to move at night I was provided with a trusted Boda Boda Driver. Same for my planned activities. I felt very cared for.

We loved the beautiful layout of the dorm - there is enough space, 2 showers, a large sitting room and two terraces with awesome views on the water - all decorated with lots of love for details. Everyone at Home on the Nile was super friendly, welcoming and helpful. The breakfast with the fruit salad and eggs and avocado was a perfect start into the day. Thanks for the wonderful time and for making us feel at home! It’s really much more than just a dorm…

Really beautiful! Clean, and comfortable great staff! Really nice showers with hot water !! indoor / outdoor and sun terrace seating area with beautiful view of Nile river ! Great breakfast, big bowl of fruit, eggs , avocado, toast , coffee/tea . On the weekends Friday , Saturday there is a club cafe 49 that has music , could be good if you want to go out could be bad if you were trying to go to bed , but still great just bring earplugs ! They were always helpful and willing to call a boda boda when needed. The place is a little out of town for the evening hours but there is a road with lights all the way down until the end but …still have to walk around 7 min with no lights but we always felt safe as 2 girls !
