Located just in the middle of Podyl district surrounded by great historical places and buildings I like the best that a lot of great caffees and restorants are just next to the hotel

I was on the 5th floor which was great but internet signal was fairly non existing or very intermittent. I could not find any english speaking chanels on the TV. Breakfast was from a menu rather than being out so you could select your own. No bar so i needed to venture out for a drink.

Perfect location for me and the room was excellent and cleaned each day.

one of the lamps in the room wasn't working, it wasn't the lamp it was the power socket in the wall, bathroom - no hot water for 5-10 minutes. i needed to wait very long, there was very little food selection. (much less when compared to other hotels i am traveling and staying at) somebody was shouting in the hotel courtyard in the night

To thin walls, couldn't sleep because other guest was snoring and I could hear it very loud and clear. I had to sleep with noise canceling headphones and music on. That was exhausting. Besides it all conversations and phone calls were the same loud during a day and in the evening.

There was no electric kettle in the room which can be a nice finding if you decide to go for a cup of tea in the evening.

The hotel is located in the heart of Kyiv. Although the building is quite old and, as expected, it was nice and tidy in the room. The personnel was very friendly.

The shower is small. While the location is great, this also means noisy. Neither bothered us enough to affect our stay negatively.

The location is in the center of the historical district. Dozens of fantastic restaurants in short walking distance. Room is spacious. It's a little dated, but clean. Nice staff. We didn't try the breakfast.

So many have left. They are still there, and they offer the best value for money. Times are tough, though, and they still put out a magisterial effort in very difficult circumstances, and I think this deserves to be acknowledged and encouraged. I saw the staff be a little on edge - which is normal when you're woken up by air raid alarms - but they put up a brave face and are incredibly helpful. I will be back to Kyiv, and I will stay at the Podil Plaza.

The rooms are mostly in a separate section of the building, you have to leave the main part and go through a small courtyard to get to them, then they are laid out horizontally, i.e. can be quite far from the stairs and elevator.

A well furnished hotel, everything is quite well constructed, a bit fancy, i.e. gold and red plush velvety, but not completely over the top.

A bit scattered, to get to the room you have to go outside again into a courtyard, then stairs or an elevator, with long corridors that are a bit winding.

Fairly decent hotel in a very interesting and active district. The staff are sometimes a bit strange, but overall, not bad. In winter they didn't heat the room in advance, which was a bit of a bummer.

The TVs are very difficult to use! Some access points require passwords, although the access is not pay-per-view, such as YouTube, which is silly. The controls are almost impossible to understand, and calling the staff every time a TV needs to get up and running is ridiculous. This is a persistent problem at this hotel. Also, the room was quite cold, the thermostats did not appear to be working, the least the staff can do is heat up the room to normal temperature since the room was booked in advance.

The Junior Suite is quite spacious, the bed was comfortable.
