The rooms were a little bit loudy.

Location was super good. Breakfast was delicious and with wide variety. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were spacious.

The following two points I did not like: We got told that there is a room where we can change, if our flight is very late. The room is a restroom and it is mostly occupied. It took a while in order to get it. I did not change at all at the end. Our flight out was very late, so we pre-ordered our dinner. This way we did wanted to not rush our dinner. When we sat down it took forever till our dinner came. We had to ask twice. We almost had to gulp down our food, otherwise we would have left too late.

The apartments were in the middle of the city. Best part, air-conditioning which is working. Very had to find in Africa. Very close to the main building. It is only a view corners away. You can use the pool during the day. Beds are very comfortable. We were only there for one night, but we liked it a lot. Our room was on the 3rd floor, but the bell boy carried our luggage all the way up.

The location war grate, for exploring and sightseeing in the narrow streets. The breakfast at Tembo hotel was good and with a large range of selections. The staff was professional and friendly. I can really recomend a stay at Tembo B&B apartments

Didn't get the double room we had booked with Tembo B&B appartment when we arrived. We got a small room far from the hotel Tembo. We reported had to wait until the next day. There is construction at the restaurant.

Nice breakfast, including local and international food. Bar doesn't serve alcoholic drinks. Nice sunset from the restaurant. The apartman building is indeed only two minutes from the main building.

The staff's attention regarding to filling up the breakfast buffet was not very good and very slow. If they want to provide cereals, there should be bowls and milk too. If there's toast, they should provide butter and other spreads.

Staying in the rooms was very comfortable! Had a pleasant stay.

TV doesn’t work and only two channels not clear and when I asked them for repair it was mentioned that it is problem and can not be solved Room with number start by C letter in the third floor of which it is high if your age exceed 50 old years as no elevator Finally I asked them an invoice for my stay and they confirmed that they will prepare it before my departure and they did not prepare anything additional they said that they will send it via email and until now nothing was sending

Pool is very nice as usual and staff are nice and location is great for stone town area

If we we checked in then actually we did not get the room in the main building but in the building block over the street. All hotel services were sill included but it was not that comfortable to use them, especially when using pool and coming back with wet swimming suit. Lot of noise in the night in the corridors, I was woke up very often. No control over the children in the main pool, they are jumping in and out and screaming loudly.

Very good and central location, 3 pools and nice restaurant on the beach. Good breakfast with lot of choices. Nice place to enjoy the sunset. Very professional receptionists speaking very good English.

There is no fall in the bathroom so there is lots of water on the floor after showering. It’s I big hotel so the pool and beach is getting very crowded.

Good location and friendly staff. We did stay while doing safari in Tanzania for a day. Short transport to the airport.

A/C could not cool down room, even after maintenance worked on it. Kitchen and utensils badly maintained. Had a small fire (short circuit inside microwave oven) which was scary! Glad we managed to quickly notice that and stop it (had a quick replacement of the microwave oven).

Very spacious bedroom (anex studio penthouse - a few steps away from Hotel, just watch out for the stairs). Great breakfast facing beach. Good 2 pools, super central. Good value for money as it was cheaper than the rooms inside hotel, but you can enjoy their facilities.

The walk to the apartments but that was our choice. Nothing else.

We stayed in the apartments a short walk away from the main hotel. The room was a little basic with an awful view but we picked the apartment room as it was larger to accommodate our scuba diving equipment. The hotel itself was excellent, with friendly staff, lovely pool are and right on the beachfront. The self service breakfasts were excellent and the food we ordered a couple of times from the bar was great, just a little slow but that seems to be Zanzibar "Pole Pole" (slowly, slowly) in general. The property is in a great location to explore Stone Town.

We stayed in the Suite, which was spacious and had a washing machine, but also 7 floors up.. also, when we checked in, I was told I only booked for one person so had to pay another $260 for the same room, which made no sense to me.

Beautiful setting right on the beach, within walking distance of all stone town has to offer.. great buffet breakfast, friendly staff; beautiful pool in the main facility. The apartments are a block or so away from the main hotel.

Water pressure was poor for the shower Would have been nice to have two pillows each and an extra blanket on the bed for weight (personal preference)

My room in the B&B apartments was situated a few minute walk away from the hotel, but that wasn't apparent when I booked. It wouldn't have been a problem, but I was solo in my room and away from the rest of my group. I had to walk down some twisty, narrow alleys and needed my friends to escort me there at night. Quite inconvenient for a swim. Also, my room had no curtains the first night, so I was dressing in the dark and hanging towels to block the lights from next door.

Really friendly and helpful staff great breakfast. Nice pool. The main hotel is beautifully situated.

Booked a room with a balcony, it wasn't a balcony it was a shelf that you could barely fit out onto. The bathroom was a bit old not what was expected from the photos. The hotel staff were very helpful however the apartment is across the road and a staff member man's the entrance which is down a small lane/side road he was very intense and everyone expects tips which was draining, you can't carry your own bags and then they look for tip!

Use of the hotel facilities really improved this stay. The breakfast was amazing, wide selection of foods. The room was spotless.
