I think the price was to high for the service and type of room. It was not a cheap hotel and it did not have facilities we expected. Moreover, in the pictures the pool seem to be big and it was rather small. Also, to arrive there the road is awful (but maybe that is in all the island), it is better to walk than to go in transport.

Bed was comfortable and big. However, the room did not have any sofa inside the bedroom to rest a bit. Outside chairs were not comfortable. The toilet did not have hands soup. The staff are very nice, in the reception, at the entrance and in the restaurant.

Food menu was very limiting with many items not available.

The hotel staff, location and general needs (hotel room, water, cleanliness, etc.) were great. The only thing that I had read on comments before was the food menu which I found to be limiting, however this was also great for us as it pushed us to go explore other restaurants who are in Nungwi and explore more the area.

Regrettably, the Restaurant has a significant negative impact on the overall experience at this Resort. On our first day, we eagerly ordered the daily special for lunch, which consisted of Chicken with fries and Fish with potatoes – a choice both my partner and I made. However, to our disappointment, we had to endure a wait of one hour and twenty minutes before the food finally arrived. Adding to the disappointment, the chicken turned out to be undercooked, prompting us to send it back and wait once more for a properly prepared dish. The lack of attentive service was evident, as it was challenging to get the waiters' attention due to their absence from the dining area, seemingly occupied in the kitchen. That evening, we returned to the Restaurant for dinner, believing they would offer a buffet. Unfortunately, upon arrival, we were informed that there was no buffet available, and it was a mistake on their part to suggest otherwise. Instead, we were restricted to choosing from the same limited lunch options, unable to select from their regular menu. This left us puzzled, as we were essentially forced to repeat the same meal we had for lunch. When we questioned the waiters about this inconsistency, they seemed bewildered and unable to provide a satisfactory explanation until we insisted on speaking with the manager. The manager apologized and attempted to make amends for the inconvenience caused. Throughout the dinner, we noticed many other guests expressing their frustration at the prolonged wait times for their food. Some even reported waiting for over two hours, despite the restaurant not being at full capacity. This added to the overall dissatisfaction of the dining experience. Additionally, the professionalism of the establishment was further marred by the sight of the manager's children entering the staff-only kitchen area and playing soccer while guests were present.

The location and environment of the Hotel is superb. Upon arrival the receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. They were able to assist with a little surprise for my partner which i found very nice of them as it was short notice but they went out of their way to assist with the request. The breakfast buffet was great and loved that they offered a few traditional foods such as mandazi, and local beans which tasted amazing.

It was tough, because we were the only guests in the hotel, so it felt awkward. Was hard to discuss about meals, not a lot of options and even after asking what we like to eat, that food was not always available. They tried, especially the waiters. Wouldnt recommend booking this in low season though.

Perfect place for a quiet private stay in Nungwi not far from everything! We stayed one night in room called Jadeite with nice ocean-view and big balcony (second floor of the three-storey building at the back of the hotel). Very nice spacious room, big and nice bathroom with gel, shampoo, hair dryer. Clean, big nice bed, with fridge and kettle, AC, everything is working. coofee-maker mentioned in the describtion is just instant coffee, if what) We enjoyed also buffet-breakfast: tea, coffee only instant unfortunately, eggs of your choice, toasts, jams, nutella, butter, some fried veggies, chapati and meat in sauce. Territory is sweet, place is quite, unlike all the other Nungwi (which is half hour walk basically) green, view of the ocean is amazing, pool with salt-water located nicely. We didn't swim in the ocean but all the hotel located on the reefrock, so the entrance to the ocean is a bit rocky also, but enough nice place to sekm etc. Overall standart is good but it's not top-top, you need to understand it) but the quality-money is very good for Zanzibar, which is pretty overpriced to my opinion.

the beach was not private as Tanzanite says, also the beach is not with sand but a riff so you can not lay on the beach and chill. the food in the restaurant took very long everyday and everyday was there something on the menu that was not available.

Wifi is very slow, the location of hotel is a bit on the windy side of the island, road to the hotel is very bad and if you want to go to out or go to the beach, allow at least 30 min, because taxis cannot drive more then 3km/h as the road is full of deep holes.

Resort is beautiful, it has a lot of cute and nice corners for photos. Although they don't have a beach, there is a lagoon 2 minutes away.

The bed had a squeaking noise.

It was a walking distance to the turtle aquarium and animal zoo which I loved the most.the staff were friendly and accommodating especially the lovely ladies at the reception Mariam and Leila.The breakfast was okay but not many options to choose from.

You can't really swim in the ocean just outside the property. There are plenty of sea urchins in the water. You can walk on the beach during low tide, during high tide the beach is not accessible because the water breaks on the rocks right by the steps to get into the property.

The view, amazing. Facilities are really well looked after.

The restaurant food could have been abit better. Breakfast was most lovely but the other menu options could have been a bit better.

Beautiful location and view. The rooms were a great size and and the stand out feature were the staff at the resort. Amazing people and so very helpful...Said, Mariam and Esther were the most amazing staff, who help our family with anything and everything we needed!!!

service is not a 4 star one as it supposed to be, everything is very slow, the food is not that amazing like is a beach resort is expected a fresh seafood but the fish in the dinner was very dried. water is the basic and is not included even in the breakfast witch is unbelievable. and the shoes for access the beach are lost, old or without pair

the área is pretty, full of trees and super nice, the staff is super warm and friendly
