It was like home from home. My friend and I stayed at sandies last August. All the staff were very helpful and friendly we were treated very well.

The breakfast were absolutely delicious chef did us proud with the food. My husband is a very fussy eater and he had no complaints. That was one of the reasons I took him to sandies. My experience last August was phenomenal I had was to back there with him.

Everybody is writing that there are securitys and they don´t let the beachboys to go to the hotel. Thats true! BUT!!! There is everyday the same beachboy who is giving money to the securitys that he can stay in front of the hotel on the beach! and he is really annoying. (picture below) Be careful if you book any tour with this guy! The guy is giving FAKE MONEY (fake dollars to customers), We also told this problem to the reception, but they don´t care about it. Prices are everywehre cheaper than at this guy! Securities will simply dump the rubbish into the sea (picture below) One other thing is that if you don´t book all inclusve, the stuff make the prices as they want. One day we paid 5$ for 1 beer, another day 3$ and so on. (Outside the hotel beer prices are arround 2,5$!)

Perfect location in a quiet area Hotel is also really safe. Best location for the sunset! (picture below without filter) Water is always close (There is always a possibilty to swim at every time not like on east coast of Sansibar) We have only booked the room including breakfast and it was worth it. By walking 5-10 minutes on the beach there are plenty restaurants which all of them have good prices and good food. Stuff there is really friendly and de animateurs are also very helpful in any situation. breakast is ok, Every 2nd day you have the same.

Well...the crows are a nuisance, but the restaurant staff did their best to keep them away! One suggestion is to have lifeguards at the pool and the beach.

People make a place and the hotel staff were lovely, kind and professional. The location is stunning and the gardens are beautiful...kudos to the gardeners! Good food and plenty of it. Our room was perfect for two adults and two kids and the hotel is very child friendly. There are a range of were activities every day for those who were interested-you can even learn to play Bao...check it out!

Food was not bad but average. Would not recommend all inclusive when so easy to access restaurants along beach.

Great location. Kids loved the swimming pool and the variety of wildlife they found in the grounds. Beach is really pretty. Can walk up beach to town to access restaurants and bars. Good location for doing dolphin snorkeling trips.

Needed better coffee. Instant in the rooms, and tasted like instant coffee at the restaurant. 730pm dinner start was hard for little kids

The rooms, the pillows are flat, no TV, no black out curtains. The a la carte menu doesn't have enough items.

Breakfast was good, but I missed better choice of vegetables. Even when the vegetables were covered, there were flies or other insects sometimes. I missed the napkins :) I always had to ask. The coffee was bad through the breakfast, later at the beach bar was better. Staff was slowly , but it is normal in Africa - "Pole pole" for everything. Our room (garden room) was not cleaned daily enough and towels were still missing, but they were always delivered after a phone call to reception. Small lizards in the house, I had to overcome my fear, but I managed everything :) The beach could have more free sunbeds in high season (febr.-march).

The location was perfect. Beautiful resort, very cleaned, really a resort reminiscent of Africa :) a lot of people taking care about the gardens and resort, lovely beach and the sea. I saw fish and starfish. Lots of greenery, beautiful huge Baobabs in the resort. Sufficient choice for breakfast and dinner. Always smiling people, in Hakuna Matata mode :-) If you have all inclusive, you have good choice for alcoholic+non-alcoholic drinks, ice-cream, nuts... Electricity seemed to be out especially in the evening, but it didn't make any problem. No mosquitoes during the whole stay in the resort!

The main value here comes from the location and beauty of the beach. But that's the way it is. Family rooms are older, but spacious with 2 showers. Airocn was sufficient. I would say it is a bit overpriced hotel.

The best thing about this property is its location on the beautiful beach and the beach was not crowded. The sea was also excellent, you can always swim, also great for children. The property was clean, the garden was nice, the baobabs were charming, staff, and security kind to us. The food and drinks were tasty but nothing special, the kids did not eat much. All together, it was an enjoyable stay.

The manager of the restaurant Abbas (sorry, if I am not using correctly his name) was very nice, helpful, and friendly. All staff actually, but he seemed interested about the guests in the hotel.

Maybe capuccino should be included in all inclusive servise. That is the only thing I missed.

Our stay was perfect! It is close to the beach,the restaurant is of high quality and basically straight on the beach. The food was excellent, we loved it there! The room was spacious and met our needs. The staff was professional,great to kids. Simply amazing holiday!

I saw one of the managers treating his employees in a not very friendly manner during the breakfast, perhaps something to reflect on a bit.

We loved the location, right on one of the most pristine beaches I've ever seen. Daily room cleaning, nice pool and most of all - the attitude of the staff was above average. They let us stay in the room after official check out as my daughter was sick. Also there was awesome resort doctor Edina which was a real angel when my daughter got fever, she helped us a lot.
